Perdy and I rushed to the dog park and got there about 3:05 and I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw Chris still standing there as Dodger ran around alone. I opened the gate and unhooked Perdy and she went running in.

"I am so sorry." I said and Chris just shook his head.

"I was getting worried." Chris said and I nodded.

"I know I got busy working and lost track of time." I said.

"And before you ask I don't have my phone near me when I work so I didn't get your text." I said and Chris huffed a laugh.
"Well you are here now and that's all that matters." Chris said and I smiled.

"Exactly and the Disney Duo is back together again." I said pointing to Perdy and Dodger and Chris laughed.

"They are and they are happy." Chris said and I nodded. We watched the dogs play for a while and Chris sighed.

"You want to go get some coffee?" Chris asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I know this great place right down the street." I said and Chris smiled.

"Sounds great." Chris said as we put the dogs on their leashes and we headed to the coffee shop I had gone to with the girls the other day.

"I come here all the time." Chris said as we sat down and the dog laid together under the table.

"Okay so you come to a dog park near here, you shop at my grocery store, you shop around town and you come to this coffee shop. I take it you live close by." I said and Chris laughed.

"I only live about 3 miles away honestly. I walk here a lot. I love the exercise." Chris said and I smiled.

"Wow...you live so close." I said and Chris looked at me confused.

"I live in the apartments over on Beharrell Street." I said and Chris laughed.

"I live over on Pope Road." Chris said and I shook my head.

"So literally so close." I said and he nodded.

"How are those apartments?" Chris asked.

"Nice, pricey but I'm not paying the rent, my job is so I don't care." I said and we both laughed as the waitress walked over.

"So you have been here a few weeks now right?" Chris asked after we ordered and I nodded.

"I have..." I said and Chris smiled.

"How are you liking it?" Chris asked and sighed.

"Well I have only been here about 2 weeks so far, haven't gotten to explore much just checking out some local places with my neighbor and her friend." I said and Chris smiled with a small nod.

"You been to historic Boston yet?" Chris asked in a Boston accent and I shook my head but tried hiding my laugh.

"What?" Chris asked and I smiled.

"How often does that Boston accent of yours come out?" I asked and he shook his head with a smile.

"About as often as your New York accent comes out." Chris said and I blushed.

"Touché." I said.

"It's a cute accent though." Chris said and I knew I was blushing even more.

"The Boston accent isn't bad either." I said and he smiled as out drinks were brought out and water for the dogs again.

"So you asked about historic Boston. Should that be my next stop?" I asked and he smiled and nodded.

"It should be. It's pretty amazing." Chris said and smiled.

"I will have to plan a day I can go with the girls." I said and Chris sighed and groaned.

"Unless you know someone else who would want to go with me?" I asked, Chris smiled at me.

"I would like to take you." Chris said and I smiled.

"Chris Evans are you asking me out on a date?" I asked and he smiled and grabbed my hand that was sitting on the table and intertwined his fingers in mine.

"What if I was?" Chris asked and I smiled.

"I would say yes." I said and he smiled.

"Well then Genevieve, would you like to go on a date with me to historical Boston tomorrow?" Chris asked.

"I would love to." I said and he smiled.

"Perfect." Chris said and I smiled. Chris and I sat enjoying our coffee and just talking. When we finished he paid even though I tried and we left.

"Okay well this is where we split up." I said and Chris sighed.

"I could walk you home." Chris said and I shook my head.

"Get home and get Dodger home. It's getting cold." I said and Chris nodded. He leaned in and gave me a hug which I accepted.

"Should I meet you tomorrow?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I would like to pick you up. Just send me your address." Chris said and I nodded.

"Okay, well I will see you tomorrow." I said and Chris nodded. I went and walked towards my apartment building and Chris went towards his house. Once I got home I walked towards my apartment and I saw 2 people standing outside my door.

"Hey." I said seeing Ash and Lexi.

"Open the door." Lexi said and I got confused but I saw wine in Ash's hand.

"Isn't it a little early?" I asked and she shook her head.

"Not for what we want to talk about." Ash said as I unlocked my apartment door. I wiped off Perdy's paws and let her go in the apartment. We all went into the kitchen and I got us out glasses.

"So were out today...." Lexi said as we poured some wine.

"Okay...." I said.

"And we walked past the coffee shop." Ash asked and I tried hiding my smile.

"Right...." I said and they groaned.

"Oh come on! You know what we saw!" Lexi said and I laughed.

"Me having coffee with Perdy." I said.

"You weren't just with Perdy and you know it!" Ash said and I laughed.

"Guys, it's no big deal." I said and they looked at me like I was crazy.

"It was Chris Evans! When did this happen? I mean you just got into town!" Ash said and I sighed.

"We met at the dog park one day and just got talking because Perdy and his dog got along really well and then we exchanged numbers but kept bumping into each other out and about. Today we made the plan to meet up and then he asked me out on date tomorrow." I said and both girls choked on their wine.

"You are going on a date with him?" Lexi asked and I nodded.

"Yeah he knows why I am here and he said I needed to see Historical Boston and he asked if he could take me tomorrow." I said and they smiled.

"I just can't believe that you just came into town, meet him and just like that you have a date with him." Ash said.
"And were going to keep it from us." Lexi said.
"I never said I was going to keep it from you I just don't know what to expect from dating Chris Evans. I mean this is all surreal." I said.

"I mean it's Chris Evans, this isn't normal right? Like I should be freaking out right?" I asked and the girls sighed.

"I mean maybe a little." Lexi said.

"Then why do I feel so calm?" I asked.
