No matter what anyone in the world would say, whether it be a teacher, your mother, or even someone encouraging you, there was always a winner and a loser.
Of course, that didn't mean that both sides could have fun nor was winning the most important thing in the world, but there was always a winner and a loser in every given game. Winning brought pride and joy and losing brought lessons to learn from.
[Name] never really considered himself as a sore loser, but some losses just hurt more than others.

"Are you sure?"
"Positive Taicho," [Name] rolled his eyes as he adjusted the back of his shoes before turning around and giving his captain a smile. "It's just a quick walk around the city to make sure I don't cramp up. Besides, you forget that I lived in Tokyo."
"Have you lived in this part?" Kazuo asked with a faint pout forming on his face.
"Not important!" [Name] waved it off as he walked to the sliding doors of the inn they were staying at.
"You have your phone and wallet with you? Just in case?"
[Name] gave his pockets on his jacket and shorts a pat before giving his captain a thumbs up. Kazuo gave him one last look before letting out a sigh. "Just don't come back too late and call if there's an emergency–"
"Which there won't," [Name] drawled out while cutting him off to stop him from worrying.
"And [Name]?"
"Hm?"
"You know the team's proud of you. Right?" [Name] froze at the doorway with his back turned to his captain. "You did amazing and, honestly, we wouldn't have made it this far–"
"Geez, Taicho," [Name] turned around while giving him a small smile. "Give everyone else some credit. I couldn't have done it without you guys anyway."
"I know but you–"
"Anyway, I'm off!" [Name] shouted as he zoomed off outside the building with a smile on his face while waving at the captain who immediately followed him out the door to stare at his figure going smaller in the distance. "I'll see you later, love you!"
Kazuo waved at him with a worried expression on his face as he sighed and decided to go back to the inn, the best thing he could do was wait for the boy to come back.
[Name] huffed heavily after sprinting, both his hands resting on his knees as he closed his eyes to try and keep the world from spinning. Despite the slight breeze wafting in the night air of the city, [Name] wiped the sweat off his head with his hand and began walking at a slow pace, finding himself in front of a park.
He walked past the entrance and followed the path that was illuminated by the lamp posts while he occasionally glanced up at the stars, or at least tried as the sky wasn't as clear in the city with clouds covering the view with only the moon lighting up the dark grey skies.
Eventually, he walked and walked noticing the lack of people before he stood in front of a large lake with the land slightly sloping into the water. He went over to the edge and sat down on the grass, picked a few rocks nearby before skipping them into the water one by one, listening to the light splashes before the stone inevitably sank to the bottom of the lake. The action slowly became repetitive as his body adjusted to the movement eventually going on autopilot while his brain began to wander.
