Sometimes, people do something amazing everyday that they don't really notice how amazing it is. How artists can create drawings with just a piece of paper and a pencil. How writers can create stories that evoke so much imagery and emotion. How athletes can handle so much stress on their body and still keep going. People just don't notice how amazing they are until someone just points it out.

It's been a week since [Name] and Bokuto had met but somehow, Bokuto feels like he's known [Name] his entire life.

He knows that [Name] is shy since he was hiding behind him when he first met Bokuto's older sisters. He knows that [Name] doesn't like eating anything that's been touched by bell peppers despite having them removed because 'the taste still lingers.' He also knows that [Name] likes to think ahead before making a choice whenever encountering a situation.

But one thing he noticed that was a bit more subtle than everything else was that [Name] did not take compliments very well.

"Ok [Name]-kun, are you ready to learn how to play volleyball from your Koutarou-nii?" Bokuto asked with enthusiasm in his voice while holding the volleyball in between his arm and side.

The duo was currently standing in Bokuto's backyard where his parents had set up a small volleyball net so their only son could play and practice whenever he wanted. While Bokuto usually asked his sisters to toss him the ball from time to time, they were usually a bit busy with their school considering they were both in middle school and senior high school respectively.

"Eh..." [Name] rubbed the side of his arm while staring at how tall the net was. "Not really, no."

"It's fun! I'll teach you how to do it!" Bokuto said excitedly as he grabbed the boy's hand and brought him to one side of the court to teach him some basic skills. "Ok, let's teach you how to set."

"Setting?" [Name] tilted his head in confusion. "I don't know much about volleyball but shouldn't passing be the first thing to learn?"

While [Name] was right, he forgot to consider who he was talking to.

"We can do that later but I wanna hit your tosses!" Bokuto said enthusiastically as he pushed [Name] towards the net and told him to get into position. [Name] was about to argue that he didn't know exactly what the "position" was but knew that it would be pointless to tell Bokuto that.

[Name] shook his head as he tried remembering how the setters did their tosses when Bokuto made him watch some matches to show him how cool volleyball was. He did have to admit that it did seem interesting on how each player had to coordinate with each other to score a point but the entire thing seemed tiring.

With a sigh, he faced parallel to the net and slightly bent his knees, placing his hands right above his forehead, trying to copy how the setters looked though unsure if he was doing the right thing.

"Yeah, like that!" Bokuto shouted from the end of the makeshift court. "You ready?"

"I guess?" [Name] looked to the side as he saw Bokuto toss the ball into the air towards him. The throw was just enough that he didn't have to move from his place as Bokuto got a running start, ready to spike the ball. As the ball made contact with the tips of his fingers, he immediately tossed the ball to where Bokuto was about to jump. Unfortunately, as much as [Name] got the position of how to set on the first try, trying to actually set was a completely different story.

The ball completely missed Bokuto and bounded towards the wall, bouncing on the grass as it hit the ground with a soft thud until it came to a stop near a bush. The two stared at the ball for a few seconds before Bokuto turned to [Name]. "It's fine!"
