Chapter 12

Hermione takes a sip of her juice and Harry slides beside her with a grin.

"Do I even have to ask?"

"I think that was one of the most interesting class I been to and that is saying a lot," Harry says.

Hermione shakes her head, "I wouldn't deny it wasn't interesting, but I wasn't enjoying how close Ron was getting."

Harry shrugs, "He likes you,"

"I already know that and I have turned him down since last year, but that doesn't seem to stay in his head,"

"What can you do? As long as you are single he thinks there is still a chance," Harry grabs a toast, munching on it.

"Unless..."

Hermione glances at him, but before he could even say anything the twins take a seat in front of her both sharing a twin grin.

"Then we suggest dating someone,"

"Correct, George and that foreign student who you have been helping is a good choice," Fred says.

"Bu-" Harry tries to say only for George to kick him under the table.

"You okay, Harry?" Hermione asks.

Harry forces a smile as he nods.

"That would work?"

The twin's nods, "Don't worry we will help you,"

"I want to roast a bird," Tiamat says.

"Hm. Season with rosemary and-" Charlie glances at her and sighs following her line of sight to Hermione and a blond girl from Beauxbatons.

"Right, you were talking about THAT bird. Please don't I don't want to end up in jail,"

Tiamat turns to him, "Why will you end up in jail? I would be the one doing it,"

"Have you really forgotten that you are currently my responsibility? Meaning you kill her they will kill you and send me to jail for failing on stopping you,"

Tiamat narrows her eyes and was about to answer when Hagrid calls her over.

"Go. I am waiting for my brothers," says Charlie.

Tiamat nods and follows Hagrid out of the courtyard.

"We are those two?" he wonders tapping his foot.

"What has you so serious, brother?" Fred asks.

Charlie grumbles, "Do you two think I am dumb?"

Fred and George share a look, "Do you really want an answer to that?" ask George.

Charlie narrows his eyes at them, "Then do tell me what are you two planning? Because I don't doubt that what is happening with Hermione was a coincidence," the twins gulp as Charlie's gaze slowly turns into a glare.

"Well?"

"We-"

"Maybe fate-"

"Get it out already because something you two are not realizing is that we dealing with a time-ticking bomb,"

"How exactly is a dragon a time bomb?" Fred asks, crossing his arms.

"In directly every creature is that because they will reach a point that they will release their fury and Tiamat has been very patient," he points at the two of them as he says, "you two are not helping because if my guess is correct Hermione is her mate."

Fred drops his arms as George grabs his hand.

"Dragons are protective of their children and mate. Meaning this extra and unnecessary competition will not end up well. So, I suggest you two stop this because I am guessing this also involves Ron."

The twin shares a frown moving even closer to each other something they do when they know they have mess up and are about to get punish.

"We just wanted to her since Ron can't take a no," George says.

Charlie sighs, "You two meant well, but you should have done more research on who you were involving."

The twins nod.

"Ah, Mr. Weasley," a female calls out walking towards them a quill and notepad floating behind her.

"I mean the Dragon tamer," she clarifies when the three of them turn to her.

"Yes?"

She smiles, "A little owl told me that a dragon is here and not just any dragon, but a rare one that can take the form of a human. Supposedly, it's the one that stopped the fight centuries ago,"

Charlie gulps moving a step back as she takes one closer to him.

Fred and George nod to each other before each one grabbing one of her arms and saying, "We have something better," Fred says.

"Yes, did you know the school is holding the Triwizard tournament?" George asks as they both drag her away from Charlie.

Charlie relaxes, gritting his teeth.

"Bloody hell, Rita is here. I have to let Tiamat know because Dumbledore might be making his move,"
