Chapter 5

The next morning Tiamat wakes up to Charlie touching her shoulder, "What?" she asks without opening her eyes yet.

"I don't want to wake you, but you have to attend breakfast,"

Tiamat opens her eyes to glare at him, "Why? I thought after last night fiasco he wouldn't want me to show my face,"

"That's because I didn't know," Dumbledore says walking towards them. Tiamat stands up from the ground she slept on.

"most of that history is lost and the ones who remember have all, but died. That's why I want to know more so we can show everyone the truth."

Tiamat crosses her arms, "Removing fear is like trying to forget a love one who has died. Not easily done."

Dumbledore nods, "I understand that very well that why I want to change it by first starting from the children who will soon replace the older ones. They will have a new perspective,"

I don't buy this, but all she could do is nod. He smiles, "That's why it was decided that we will hold the Triwizard tournament where two other schools will come to compete in a competition,"

"So, I will simple be show off to them or be involve in this competition one way or another?"

Dumbledore shakes his head, "I can't reveal much yet,"

Tiamat sighs, "Would I be able to change into my true form? Because they should get to know a dragon which I don't currently look like one,"

Dumbledore smile fades as glances up thinking. Tiamat glances at Charlie who presses his lips together, staring directly at her.

"I don't think that can be done unless those are remove," Dumbledore says and left after telling them the time to be at the Great Hall.

"He wants to use me to look good,"

"Yes, but I don't think-"

Tiamat moves closer to Charlie forcing to look up ignoring the tight grip she has on his wrist. That if they were claws he would have already lost his hand.

"Don't think. You been around dragons do you really believe they have our best interest in mind? Because you can ask any creature and tell me how are they are treated,"

"They are considered beast and laws just push them down or simply put them in an area," Tiamat lets her hand drop to her side.

"You want to change them?"

Tiamat raises an eyebrow, "You believe they will change?" he shakes his head, "but not everyone is bad."

"I am very aware of that, but I can't let go yet and I don't have much to lose,"

"What about your mate?" Charlie asks.

Tiamat shrugs, "Don't have one and I doubt I will find them,"

"You will,"

Tiamat chuckles, "You are just curious because we don't let others close to our mates during the courting,"

Charlie grins, "Was I that obvious?"

"Its all over your face," he laughs at that as they make their way to the castle.
