Would it be disrespectful if I fall asleep? Tiamat wonders as she waits for the show to begin that the two visiting schools will be putting on. That when it did begin she zoom out both because she finds it boring and as a way to ignore the random stares. That luckily the girls from the first school took most of the attention.
Veela's, huh. Have not seen one in a long time,
Dumbledore stands up and gives a speech welcoming the schools along with some rules when it came to putting their names in the cup. When he was done many of the students start to whisper with each other, but Tiamat could careless what they were saying. Instead, her focus is on a perky blond that is making her way to Hermione.
Where is that bird going? She wonders gaze following the blond as she approaches the table.
"You okay?" Charlie asks in a low voice, "you are destroying the edge of the table."
Tiamat exhales putting her hand on her lap.
"I am fine,"
Charlie places a hand on her forearm, "You aren't,"
Tiamat huffs, "Do you really think we can just leave?"
"Yes, and you have done so. This time is no different," he says. Tiamat knows that he is right, but something deep in her hold her down. It's a someone is squeezing her heart.
"Tiamat,"
She nods standing up with Charlie following after her.
"You already leaving," Dumbledore says.
"Yes, I have reached my limit in being a inside this stone prison," Tiamat says with out turn around and walks out. A laughing Charlie right behind her.
"Do you seriously plan on laughing every time?"
"Do you plan on being that Queen like?"
Tiamat smiles shaking her head, "Thanks, but I have not done anything for them only being absent right as I was given the title,"
Charlie frowns, "You prevented a war,"
"Giving myself up to show them we mean no harm didn't stop them from hunting us and locking us up. Just for the sake of humans without magic which I find ridicules because we had been living along side them with no trouble even when we had our disagreement,"
"Tiamat..."
She glances away leaving him behind.
The next morning, she finds herself once again spotting the blond and trying to not glare a her.
"Um, Tiamat?"
Tiamat turns to Hagrid who shifts in his seat, "Yes?"
"Can you take part in a class? I want to teach my more advance class about Dragons,"
Tiamat smiles welcoming the distraction, "Sure,"
*********************************************************************
Hermione grumbles trying to read her book as her classmate were talking about the other students from the visiting school. That she's focuses on quickly finishing her breakfast to go to the library to finish her homework.
Only to run into Fred and George wandering the aisles in search of who knows what.
"What are you two doing?"
One of them stops and smiles at her, "Well getting a book of course this is the library, right?"
Hermione narrows her eyes, "A place I never see you two at which only means something is brewing in those heads of yours."
"Nope, just getting a book," the other twin says, waving a book and before Hermione even gets the chance to say anything they bolt out of the library.
She just shakes her head not wanting to waste her time trying to figure out what those two were planning. She sits at her usual spot near the middle of the library when the sun is just right. The silence around her didn't last for long as its broke by a female asking, "Bonjour, itz alright if I sit with zou?"
Hermione wanted to say that there are other places to sit since the library barely has anyone in it, but the girl already took a seat without Hermione even agreeing. Not the common seat across form someone, but right next to her. Trapping her close to the window.
"Can zou help me with this? There are zome plants I don't understand," and pushes a book about herbs and their properties in potion making. Hermione stiffly nods and starts explaining in which the girl moves closer to her than what's needed.
