Clinton Cave-
You'd always hated the way some people tiptoed around your disability, speaking to you like you were fragile glass. Clinton wasn't one of them. He treated you like you — the person who made him laugh until his stomach hurt — while still quietly adjusting things to make life easier. At a show, you noticed he'd made sure there was a comfortable, accessible spot just for you, away from the crowd but with the best view. "Told you I'd save you the best seat," he said, acting like it was no big deal, even though it meant everything to you.
Mitchel Cave-
Mitchel noticed little things — the way you had to pace yourself some days, how certain setups took more energy from you. He never made a scene about it. Instead, he'd rearrange schedules, make sure you had breaks, and carry heavier gear without a word. Once, when you thanked him, he just grinned. "You're the one making us look good. Least I can do is make sure you're not running yourself into the ground."
Christian Anthony-
Christian's care was quiet but constant. He learned what helped you most — whether it was physical support, slowing his pace so you could keep up, or simply checking in without making it obvious. One night after a gig, when your disability was making things harder, he offered his arm and smiled. "We go at your speed, always," he said, like it was the most natural thing in the world. And with him, it was.
Jesse Boyle-
Jesse had a habit of making you laugh when things got frustrating — like when your disability made certain tasks more difficult. If he saw you struggling, he'd help in the most casual way possible, so it never felt like pity. "Guess that makes me your unpaid assistant," he'd tease, but you knew he'd drop anything if you needed him. He even learned a few tips from your physical therapist without telling you, just so he'd know how to help better.
Patrick Wilde-
Patrick never treated you differently, but he did go out of his way to protect you in subtle ways. He memorized places with better accessibility, kept an eye on crowds so you wouldn't get pushed, and made sure you always had a way to rest if needed. "What? I'm just making sure my best friend's taken care of," he'd say with a shrug — but the softness in his voice always gave him away.
