Adventure Of A Lifetime (Doctor's Son Reader x Ruby Rose)

Chapter 6: Talking to Ozpin.

The day starts with you waking up in your Tardis, you slept in there because there are only 4 beds in the dorm.

???: "Wake up!"
You feel a soft slap on your cheek.
You: "Ugh, what?"
You open your eyes.
You: "Wha? How did you get in here?"
Ruby: "You left the door unlocked and the rest is still sleeping so I thought I'd just look around in here."
You: "Oh, Tardis set a reminder for me to lock my Tardis at 8 pm."
You hear a beep indicating the Tardis set the reminder.
You: "Um, Ruby could you leave? I'm gonna dress so you just wait in the hall or control room."
Ruby left and you dress in your school uniform and wear your coat on top. After you were done you go to the main control room.
Ruby: "Do you maybe have a whistle laying around somewhere?"
You: "Yeah, I've even got cars in here."
Ruby: "How big even is this thing?"
You: "Picture the biggest ship on Remnant. You done it?"
Ruby nods.
You: "Good, now forget it because the Tardis is infinite."
Ruby: "Cool."
You: "I'll go look for a whistle, you just wait here."
Ruby: "Okay."

Ruby's POV

The Doctor left to go look for a whistle and I just waited here. I walked around the control room for a bit.

Ruby: "So Tardis, do you talk?"
No response.
Ruby: "Hello?"
The Doctor then returned with a whistle.
Doctor: "She doesn't talk."
Ruby: "Oh, okay."
Doctor: "I tried once to make her able to talk but that would mess with other things."
The Doctor then handed me the whistle.
Doctor: "Here you go. If you don't mind me asking, why do you need a whistle?"
Ruby: "To wake up the others."
Doctor: "Oh okay, my screwdriver can also make a whistle sound though it's way louder. Pretty sure we'd wake up Team JNPR if I used it."
Ruby: "Oh okay, well I'm gonna wake the others."
The Doctor gave me a thumbs up and walked away further into the Tardis.

Your POV

After Ruby left I went to get my sonic, since I almost forgot it. I then left the Tardis and stood beside Ruby.
You: "Look at them sleeping so soundly. We're gonna ruin that."
Ruby: "Yes we are."
Ruby then whistles.
Ruby: "Good morning, Team RWBY!"
Weiss somehow falls out of her bed.
Weiss: "What in the world is wrong with you? And who gave you a whistle?"
You look to the side and just whistle with your mouth.
Ruby: "Now that you're awake, we can officially begin our first order of business."
Weiss: "Excuse me?"
Yang: "Decorating!"
Weiss: "What?!"
Blake (holding her suitcase) : "We still have to unpack."
Her suitcase opens, letting all the contents fall to the floor.
Blake: "And clean."
You spot some books between her stuff.
You: "Books?"
Blake: "I like to read."
You: "Okay."
Ruby: "Aaaalright! Weiss, Blake, Yang, The Doctor and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission! Banzai!"
Yang: "Banzai!"
You: "Allons-y!"
As the rest went to unpack and decorate the place you went back into the Tardis to get a photo of you and your dad and one of Gallifrey.
You place them on the windowsill.
Ruby: "Ooohhh, who is that?"
You: "That's my dad."
Ruby: "He looks younger than I expected."
You: "Believe it or not he's over 900 years old."
Ruby: "Oh wow, and what is that on the other photo?"
You: "That is, or rather was my home planet Gallifrey. It got destroyed in a war. Me and my dad are the last of our species."
Ruby: "Oh, I'm sorry for that."
You: "Nah it doesn't matter, it's not your fault anyway. Well while you're all decorating I'm gonna go speak to Ozpin."
Ruby: "Can I come with you?"
You: "Sure I guess."

You and Ruby go to Ozpin's office and enter. Upon entering you see the mystery lady you met during the initiation.
You: "You again. Why are you here?"
Lady: "I'm here to warn you."
You: "Yes, and you did. So why are you still here?"
Ozpin: "I'm sorry, have you met?"
You: "Yeah, during initiation I met her in the forest. She warned me about something I don't know about yet."
Ozpin: "Did she say: The stars shall fall when the beacon stops shining?"
You: "Correct."
Ozpin: "She just told me as well."
Ruby: "She has H/C hair and red tips in her hair like me!"
You: "Yeah, I can see that."
Ozpin: "So Doctor, I believe you're here to ask me something?"
You: "Yes, I wanted to ask about a fifth bed. I'm currently sleeping in my Tardis but in there it's hard to hear the bells and stuff, and due to timey-wimey stuff I can't set an alarm."
Ozpin: "How did you wake up then?"
You: "Little red here woke me up, I forgot to lock my Tardis."
You see the lady smiling a bit.
Ozpin: "Well, due to all of the first years joining Beacon I don't have another bed. Though I do have one two-person bed."
You: "Oh, I don't believe we have enough room for that."
Ruby: "If we get rid of one bed we do!"
You: "Okay, then you and your sister can sleep in that."
Ruby: "Oh but I don't mind sleeping with you!"
You: *getting red* "What?"
Ruby: *realising what she said* "Wait no not like that! It's just... Ugh."
Ozpin laughs.
Ozpin: "I could get you two blankets if necessary."
You: "That would be great, thank you."
Ozpin: "It's of no problem."
You: "Well we should better take our leave, we almost have class."
Ruby: "I almost forgot!"
Ozpin: "Well, I'll be seeing you two around."
You: "Yep, goodbye!"
You and Ruby then leave for class. You walk to class and join the rest of team RWBY on their way.
You: "Hello ladies, running late are we?"
Blake: "Yes! And so are you!"
You: "Right."
You and RWBY then run to professor Ports class.
