Chapter 10: Love Is A Beautiful Thing.

Ruby, Summer, Tai and you are all at the ice skating rink, and have put on the skates. You four skate for a while with Ruby being enthusiastic as ever, especially with her mother. You skate at a normal pace next to Summer and Tai.

"Wait, what about Ruby and Yang?" You ask.

"What do you mean?" Summer asks.

"Your current kids, do they have a babysitter or something?"

Summer's eyes widen in realization.

"Shit! They're supposed to be picked up from school!"

"Language mom!" Ruby yells.

"Great, Rose, hold on to me." You say.

Summer holds on to you and you teleport back to the Tardis, which destroys the teleporter since it'd only work on one person.

"Oh, well that's a shame." You say.

"Where are we going?"

"Where do you think? Ruby's and Yang's current school of course! They need to be picked up! How late?"

"Uh, at 15:30."

"Good, we have five minutes left then. I'm not going back in time just because you forgot to pick up your children. You can pilot the Tardis right?"

"Sorta."

"Good, you'll get us there. Wait, before we do, we'll have to pick up Ruby and Tai from the ice rink. I'll do that since it requires precision."

You pilot the Tardis and it appears on the ice rink, you jog to the entrance and open the doors. Ruby suddenly comes flying through and knocks you over, landing on top of you.

"Ow..." You say.

Tai walks in normally but needs some support since he's still wearing his skates. As are Summer and Ruby, you've just taken them off somewhere during the flight.

"Ruby, you do know that you've fallen over right?" Tai says.

"Yup! I had a soft landing though!" She replies as she gets up.

Summer, Tai and Ruby take off their skates. And no, you aren't walking on your socks. The skates were attached to your normal shoes, just like the others.

You stand up as well and fix your tie. Ruby walks over to her mother who is standing at the controls.

"Well then, Ruby and Summer, good luck on getting us there." You say.

Ruby looks at you surprised.

"Huh?!"

"Remember where you went to school hun?" Summer asks.

"Yeah, why?"

"We need to pick up you and your sister. And we kinda have to pilot the Tardis there."

"What?! But I haven't done that yet!"

"You said something different to Open during the ceremony. I believe you said something about helping me pilot the Tardis." You say teasingly.
