Chapter 9: Back To Remnant.

This story has been rotting in a corner for long enough, so I'm deciding to continue writing it. In the time that I've been writing other stories I have begun writing in a new style which I will also do with this story from now on, I hope you like it. Small thing, I changed the ages from 15 to 18 and from 17 to 20. Read the first 8 chapters to see the changes. But without further ado, here is The Timeless Rose continued!

You and Ruby were staying the night at a hotel near the convention. Rose had her own hotel room with Mickey, Jackie had one with Pete and you and Ruby were in one that originally belonged to Mickey.

You get woken up by Ruby snoring. Loud. Pretty sure the entire hotel could hear her, you get up and take a quick shower. After you were done you remembered you forgot to get your clothes, so you went and got them. You walked to the room to get them and you were greeted by Ruby getting a glass of water.

"Morning Ruby." You greet.

"Oh uh, good morning Y/N." She replies.

"Heh, are you gonna start calling me Y/N now?"

"Seeing as it's your name yeah. By the way, why don't you use it normally?"

"Sort of a promise I once made, my father and all others of my species think it's some holy promise but I don't think of it that way. I'll introduce myself as the Doctor but when people find out my real name it doesn't bother me, if you found out my dad's real name you'd probably get half the galaxy after you just to find it out."

"Oh okay then. Now go put on some clothes, I'm almost gonna turn into Yang here."

"Heh fine."

You grab your clothes and go back into the bathroom to dress yourself. Once you were done you exit the bathroom.
Ruby then goes into the bathroom to dress herself. You check your watch to look at the time.

'Oh damn, its been 24 hours? Guess I slept very long.'

You go and pack your stuff, not that you had much but you took the things like your sonic screwdriver and your psychic paper. When you were about to get your psychic paper Ruby walked out of the bathroom and she was dressed in her battle outfit.

"Oooohhh, what is that?"

"It's a psychic paper, it shows whatever the holder wants to others. Here like this."

You show it to Ruby.

"So what does it say?" You ask her.

"It says you're the ruler of Gallifrey."

"And now?"

"Now it's a picture of me."

"See? It displays whatever you want it to. Why don't you try?"

"What if I make it display cookies?"

"Heh, it'll only show it on paper. I've got unlimited food and resources in the Tardis anyway. Here you go."

You give her the psychic paper. Ruby looks like she's focusing hard and shows you the paper. You read it out loud for her.

"Single and ready to mingle?"

"Wait what? No um-"

"Just kidding, it says you're a professional huntress and cookie baker."

"Oh phew."

"Well that was the psychic paper, and you already know my sonic screwdriver and Timesaber. Y'know back in the Tardis I have lots of sonic things, I've even got sonic lipstick for whenever it would be a good cover."
