Adventure Of A Lifetime (Doctor's Son Reader x Ruby Rose)

Chapter 7: Standing up against the Cardinal.

I will skip writing Port's lesson, because it doesn't add anything to the Doctor's story.

Weiss stormed off and Ruby follows her, you see Ozpin on the way there.
You: "Well, doesn't look like they're getting along. You sure the way you choose partners is the best way?"
Ozpin: "Yes, in the field you're going to have to fight alongside anyone. Even people you're not friends with."
You: "Yeah, you're right. Though I believe Weiss being all... Y'know Weiss-y, will make Ruby's time at Beacon good for her."
Ozpin: "I get where you're coming from Doctor, though, I believe this problem will sort itself. And if it doesn't you will probably be at Ruby's side. You will be her personal doctor." *chuckle*
You: *chuckle* "Okay Wizard of Oz."
Ozpin: "Is that a Time Lord thing?"
You: "Nah, doesn't matter."
Weiss storms away.
Ozpin: "Alright, well I'm going to talk to Ruby and see how her and Weiss are sorting things out, you just do whatever you want."
You: "Aye aye captain."
Ozpin walks off and you go to the dorm.

While walking to the dorm.
You: If Weiss keeps this up only Lord knows what kind of speech I'm gonna give her.
You arrive and go into the dorm.
You: What in the world?
You see on your left that two of the beds were made into bunk beds, held up right only by some books.
You also see the that on the right the two-person bed was brought there likely by Ozpin's men. And a normal bed above your bed being held up by rope.
You: Yeah because that looks safe!

Sort of bed layout, from viewpoint of the window.

Ruby and You          Door         Blake

Timeskip to the evening.
Blake arrived some time ago and was just reading some of her books.
You lean over to see what she is reading.
You: "Ninjas of Love? Didn't know you read those types of books."
Blake slowly turns red.
Blake: "Uh- um- well you see- uh-"
You: "Don't get me wrong it's a good book, though I don't know if it's the smartest idea to read it at school and alone in a room with the most curious and sneakiest man and probably the biggest bookworm in this school."
Blake: "Wait you've read this?"
You: "Yeah of course, what do you think I do in my spare time? Go out for a drink?"
Blake: "Yeah actually. Besides Yang you looked like the most social person on this team."
You: "I'm social but I don't really have any friends except for team RWBY and JNPR. Plus I don't drink."

Yang and Ruby then walk in.
Yang looks at you for a bit.
Yang: "What is the meaning of this?!"
You: "Excuse me?"
Yang points at the two-person bed.
You: "Ohhhhh, it's a bed for me and Ruby."
Yang: "Can't you sleep in your Tardis?"
You: "No, I can't hear stuff from outside and clocks don't work due to it being a time machine. Also Ruby said she didn't mind sleeping next to me."
Yang: *smirks looking at Ruby* "Did she now?"
Ruby (getting red) whispers: "Yang please don't."
Yang whispers: "Don't worry not with him here... Hehe."
A few seconds pass.
You: "Well it's getting late, I'mma dress in my pj's and sleep."
Yang: "So will we, right Ruby and Blake?"
Blake: "Uh, sure."
Ruby doesn't say anything.
You go into your Tardis and dress into your pyjamas, that being just your sweatpants. You come back and see that Blake, Yang and Ruby are already in their pyjamas and beds.
You: "I thought I was fast."
Yang: "You were, for a guy."
You lay in bed next to Ruby.
You: "Well, goodnight everyone."
RBY: "Goodnight."
You turn off the light with your sonic screwdriver and go to sleep.

Yang's POV
I wake up and first thing I do is see if the Doctor did anything. I look to their bed and see the Doctor sleeping with his head on Ruby's stomach with Ruby holding him. It was rather cute.

Timeskip to the cafeteria scene.

Your POV
Nora: "So! There we were, in the middle of the night..."
Ren: "It was day."
Nora: "We were surrounded by Ursa."
Ren: "They were Beowolves."
Nora: "Dozens of them!"
Ren: "Two of 'em."
Nora: "But they were no match... And in the end, Ren and I took them down and made a boatload of Lien selling Ursa skin rugs!"
Ren: "She's been having this recurring dream for nearly a month now."
You: "Hmm, I could take a look at her later. I'm not named the Doctor for no reason."
Ren: "Please do, it's getting annoying."
Pyrrha: "Jaune? Are you okay?"
Jaune: "Huh? Oh, yeah! Why?"
Ruby: "It's just that you seem a little... not okay..."
You: "She's right you know."
Jaune: "Guys, I'm fine. Seriously! Look!"
You notice team CRDL bullying a brown-haired girl with bunny ears.
Pyrrha: "Jaune, Cardin's been picking on you since the first week of school!"
Jaune: "Who? Cardin Winchester? Nah... He just likes to mess around! You know, practical jokes!"
You: "Yeah sure, you call that messing around or joking?" You say pointing to the bunny girl.
Jaune: "Not exactly, but-"
Ruby: "He's a bully."
Jaune: "Oh, please! Name one time he's 'bullied' me."

You ran away to your Tardis, getting a hat and going to a certain machine.
You: So my dad told me this thing could rewrite DNA or some stuff, I wonder if I can get faunus features.
You activate it and see a lot of options, eventually you see faunus features, you select wolf ears and tail and get in the machine. You press enter and you felt a sudden pain everywhere in your body. After it was done you did an X-Ray of yourself and saw you were exactly the same except for the ears and tail.
You: He didn't mention it would hurt like hell! Looks nice though.
You grab a fez and put it on and walk back to the cafeteria.

Pyrrha was telling the times Jaune got bullied by Cardin.
Jaune: "I didn't land far from the school!"
You: "Now you're just going into denial buddy."
Pyrrha: "Jaune, you know if you ever need help, you can just ask."
Nora: "Ooooh! We'll break his legs!"
You: "Nope, no violence while I'm around, except for violence against Grimm, they're not really alive."
Jaune: "Guys, really, it's fine! Besides, it's not like he's only a jerk to me; he's a jerk to everyone."
You: "If everyone meant people weaker than him and faunus, then yeah."
Bunny girl: "Ow! That hurts! Please, stop..."
Cardin: "I told you it was real!"
Russel: "What a freak!"
You: "Well, since no one is doing anything I'm gonna have to do something. I will see you all later."

You walk over to team CRDL bullying the bunny girl.
You: "Gentlemen, preying on the poor girl are we?"
Cardin: "Yeah, what about it? Want to join?"
You: "Sure"
Cardin steps aside and you walk to the bunny girl who was looking at you scared. You massage her ears where they are hurt. The bunny girl let's out a small cute squeek.
Cardin: "Hey! What are you doing?"
You: "Comforting her, you got a problem with that?" You say looking at him threateningly.
Cardin: "Yeah we do!"
Him and his team get out their weapons.
You (to the bunny girl): "Humans right? Always resorting to violence so quickly."
Bunny girl: "Huh? But you're a human?"
You: "Am I really though? Why do you think I wear a hat and a long coat?" I knew this would come in handy some day.
Cardin: "What the hell are you wearing on your head? You look like some circus guy now."
You: "It's a fez, fezzes are cool."
Cardin snatches it revealing your fluffy wolf ears. You expose your tail by moving if between the two flap thingies of the coat.
Cardin: "Another freak!"
You: "I'm really good at hiding things y'know."
Blake: He's got to teach me that someday!
Cardin: "A freak couple!"
You: "What is it with you and the word freak? Anyway, cutie you get outta here. Don't want you getting hurt eh?"
Velvet turns redder than Ruby's cloak and runs away to team RWBY and JNPR.
You: "So, Cardin and his lackeys. I don't want to resort to violence so why don't we just talk it out and go on about our day?"
The response was Cardin's mace inches away from your face.
You: "Or not."
You respond with activating your lightsaber and hold it against Cardin's neck.
You: "Can you feel the heat of it? How easily do you think it can cut off your head? Or your weapon?"
Cardin: "Boys put your weapons down."
All of team CRDL put down their weapons.
You: "That wasn't so hard was it? Now, if I catch any of you doing stuff like that again I will cut off one of your fingers. Starting with Cardin. Got it?"
They all nod and run away.
You walk back to the dining table and see everyone looking at you in shock.
You: "What? It was just some easy threatening, it's not like I'm really gonna cut off their fingers."
Blake: "You're a faunus?"
You: "Yeah I am, so what? You think differently of me now?"
Blake: "No of course not. It's just... Surprising."
You: "I get that. (To the bunny girl) I don't believe I've properly introduced myself, I'm the Doctor, nice to meet you."
Velvet: "I'm Velvet Scarlatina, it's nice to meet you too."

I will end the chapter here, and I'm not sure but I might add Velvet as a romantic interest.
