Chapter 14: The Rift.

You're currently walking in the Forever Fall forest with all the other first-year students, while Glynda is explaining what you will all have to do.

"Yes, students, the forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so. Each of you is to gather one jar's worth of red sap. However, this forest is full of the creatures of Grimm, so be sure to stay by your teammates. We will rendezvous back here at 4 o'clock. Have fun!" Glynda says.

You go with team RWBY to a couple of trees to collect sap, and do so.

"This is honestly more fun than I expected." Yang says.

"Yeah, it actually is." Blake says.

You try to get some sap from a spot pretty high up in the tree, if you were like 5 centimeters taller you could reach it, but you can't. Ruby notices this and walks over, she grabs you by the waist and carries you up so you can reach the sap. You do so and when you're finished Ruby puts you back down and you turn around to look at her. She hasn't even broken a sweat.

"You're... Stronger than expected..." You say.

"Hey! What do you mean by that? Just because I'm a girl?" Ruby replies.

"No no, it's not that. It's just because of your height and figure to be honest."

"What is that supposed to mean?!"

"Well, uh... You look..."

"What? Weak? And what of you, huh? You don't look very strong either."

"Hey! Let me tell you-"

"Guys! Guys! No need to fight! You're both strong, okay?" Yang says.

"Hmph, guess you're right." You say.

"Yeah, guess she is." Ruby says.

"Great! Now make out!" Yang says.

"... WHAT?!" Ruby yells.

"Now hold the fu-" You say.

"I meant make up! I meant make up!" Yang says in embarrassment.

"Oh..."

"Don't let it happen again, Yang." Ruby says sternly.

"Woah fine, struck a nerve did I?" Yang says.

You go to another tree to collect some sap but trip and fall, leaving you with a small cut on your hand's palm.

"Argh, shit." You mumble.

While Ruby is arguing with Yang and Weiss is doing her own thing, Blake notices the cut and walks over to you.

"Hey, how did you get cut?" She asks.

"Quite simple, I tripped and fell." You reply.

"Yeah but, shouldn't your aura protect you?"

"Don't have one, I'm not from Remnant, remember?"

"Oh right, but every being with a soul is able to unlock one. Hell, even animals can."

"Damn the excuse didn't work... I knew all that, and I've actually been trying to unlock my aura and semblance..."

"Without success I presume?"

"Bingo."

"Huh, look at me."

You're a bit confused at this.

"Uh, I am?"

"No, I mean look into my eyes. I will unlock your aura for you."

"Doesn't that take a huge toll on you?"

"Nah I've done it before, don't worry about me."

"Uh, okay then."

Blake softly puts her hands on your cheeks, and stares at your eyes. Everything goes quiet and you can basically feel multiple eyes looking at you.

"For it is in loving-"

"Oh thank God I thought they were going to kiss..." Yang says while Blake continues.

"-that we achieve strength to act. Through this, we become a light in the darkness to give warmth and courage to all. Radiant and unharmed by loss, I release your soul, and by my smile fulfill thee."

A goldish glow surrounds you like an aura would, and heals the cut on your palm. Blake however falls down exhausted, you catch her and lay her down on the soft grass. You look around a bit to see if the others are seeing this, which they of course are. Though, a white light distracts you. You walk over to see a time rift in one of the trees.

'Well that's a problem.'

"Uh, Doctor, what is that?" Ruby asks.

"Ruby. You're fast right?" You ask.

"Um, yeah?"

"Good, take me to the Tardis as fast as possible please."

"Okay? Not getting why though."

"Just do it, please."

Ruby picks you up and uses her semblance to go back to Beacon and into the Tardis.

"Okay, prepare the medbay." You say.

"Which door?"

"Uhh, first one on your right."

Ruby goes to prepare it for Blake, and you fly the Tardis to the forest. Once there, Weiss and Yang carrying an unconscious Blake enter the Tardis.

"Okay hello, Ruby, take Blake to the medbay please."

All of a sudden the Tardis' alarm starts beeping.

"What the? Shit!"

The Tardis is reacting to the time rift, causing it to go haywire. The Tardis gets sucked in there and you end up in some white void. You see a familiar planet in the distance, along with ships coming your way.

"No no no! Crap!"

You fly the Tardis away and eventually escape the rift somehow, though, the Tardis is on fire now and Blake has awoken due to the commotion. You quickly open the doors and extinguish the fires.
