"Gaara is doing fine, he's actually doing amazing. Like he had a knack for things." Shikamaru said laying in bed, looking over the statics, Naruto wasn't paying attention. He didn't care about the business he cared about Gaara.

"That's good, he managed to do so much in such a short period of time," Naruto said, looking up at Shikamaru's thinking face.

Shikamaru's continued to scroll and Naruto spoke,

"When are we getting married?"

An important topic brought up in such a lazy way. Honestly Naruto had been with Shikamaru for almost three years now. He raised and love Shikadai as if he was their own child. Not like Naruto could have children, but it didn't matter,

What mattered is that Naruto wanted to marry Shikamaru. Shikadai was now 7. Starting to excel and make friends at school. Life was great and calm.

"You asked that so suddenly." Shikamaru said, and he wanted to laugh. He was actually planning to propose to Naruto soon, though since Naruto wanted to be proactive he spoke.

"You are troublesome, you know that right." Shikamaru said, he had planned to propose romantically, Kami knows that people tend to think that a proposal had to be so grand, a high gesture to show the world that you really did love the one you were proposing too,

He didn't understand it but he was certain that Naruto would've liked some type of effort but since his boyfriend is so blunt he would just do it the same way his boyfriend asked.

Lazily.

"Soon you want to start planning it?" Shikamaru said, and Naruto looked at his naked hand. He didn't see a ring on his hand, Naruto watched as Shikamaru opened up his bedside table and handed Naruto a velvet box.

Naruto looked at the box, and Shikamaru hummed.

"You want a wedding? You want to be married? I have a ring and it was made for you." Shikamaru put his phone down and looked at Naruto.

"You totally saved me time from a lengthy proposal. So would you like to be Naruto Nara? I mean three years with a Yakuza leader? You have all the qualities I like and you stand your ground." Shikamaru leaned it and his lips hovered over Naruto's.

"I love you, and love the way you love Shikadai, so marry me?" Naruto blinked and rolled his eyes.

"You better be lucky I love you, proposing to me while I'm naked? What if Shikadai was here?" Naruto said and Shikamaru chuckled.

"We should be picking Shikadai up. He's in Suna with his favorite uncle." Shikamaru said and Naruto hummed, leaning in and kissing Shikamaru on the lips,

He did love Shikamaru, for everything's. Naruto watched Shikamaru leave the bed. He was heading to the bathroom and Naruto thought he should open his mouth,

"Shikamaru, I do want to marry you. Thank you for choosing me." Naruto said and he placed the engagement ring on his hand, looking over he spoke.

"On Wednesday he asked me to marry him." Naruto said walking his naked body over and latching his left hand to Shikamaru's right hand, giving him a soft smile and spoke,

"On Wednesday, I accepted his proposal in becoming a Nara." Naruto said and Shikamaru smiled softly, leaning down and kissing Naruto.

The two kissed for a moment, before heading to the shower to pick up Shikadai. In Suna, Gaara was napping with his biological nephew.

He had been working too much to where Neji spent most of the time with his nephew.

So the only time he could sneak in time with little Shikadai was when they were both ready for a nap.

The Group in Suna had been doing well, so well in fact Shikamaru hardly asked for an update, he trusted Gaara and Neji greatly, especially since Sasuke and Sakura were doing well,

They finally worked out those kinks, and were able to have an actual relationship.

"Gaara, you and Shikadai have slept enough. Shikamaru is on the way anyway." Gaara blinked, opening those teal eyes he looked at how casual dressed Neji was.

He always loved seeing Neji dressed casually, especially in their line of work.

"Come nap with us." Gaara scooted over, and Neji blinked.

He sighed and just joined the two of them in the bed. Gaara snuggled in and Neji as Shikadai snuggled into his favorite uncle and they just dozed off sleeping.

Shikamaru and Naruto had made it to Suna, though when they stepped foot on the base they were stopped by them men. Greetings them and talking their ear off about things.

Naruto was eating it up, he didn't care. He liked everybody that worked under Shikamaru. There was small talk before somebody noticed that there was a ring on Naruto finger,

"You'll be inviting us to that wedding? Won't ya Donna." Naruto smiled softly and nodded.

"Of course I will, you know I will." Naruto said as Shikamaru took his leave, Naruto noticed but he knew that his fiancé didn't want anything to deal with the embarrassment.

Though Naruto started to cut things a little shorter to signal the guys that he had to go,

Though Shikamaru looked around the room he didn't hear his son which meant that Shikadai was sleeping. Lighting a cigarette he headed up to the room his son liked sleeping in.

His uncles room. Knocking on the door he didn't hear anything but opened it anyways, looking at the bed he saw the three of them sleeping together.

He leaned against the wall and waited for a natural alarm clock to come wake them up. He didn't have to wait long when he heard a soft.

"Oh they are sleep." Shikamaru's closed his eyes before there was groans from the parties in bed,

"Sleeping! Not while I'm engaged!" Naruto said happily, watching as Gaara's as eyes opened first. He looked at Naruto and then to his left hand and smiled.

"Engaged? Would you like to merge our weddings?" Gaara said ask and Shikadai sat up and yawned,

"Yes! Shikamaru can we stay for a little?" Naruto asked, and suddenly he was met with soft eyes from Shikadai, Naruto and even a content look from Gaara. Neji still laid on the bed, yawning to himself,

"Sure, not too long. Have fun planning." Shikamaru said and Naruto smiled.

"Shikadai! Come with me. I've missed you." Naruto picked up Shikadai knowing the child disliked being treated like a child but knew Naruto was going to treat him however he wanted,

"I've missed you too momma." Naruto smiled and got off the bed and Gaara walked next to him.

"A beach wedding?" Naruto asked because Gaara loved the beach, and Gaara hummed before deciding.

"That sounds nice, maybe." Gaara said and the door closed, Shikamaru walked over to Neji and laid down. They didn't say anything at first before Shikamaru hummed.

"We are getting married." Shikamaru said and Neji hummed and closed his eyes to go back to sleep.

"We are, might as well get comfortable. You'll be leaving tomorrow." Neji said and Shikamaru closed his eyes and nodded.

"I anticipated. Just because they don't live together doesn't mean they won't find time for one another." Shikamaru said, and Neji chuckled softly.

"They are family and they love one another, I'd be surprised if it wasn't like this."

Shikamaru let that marinated on his mind before he drifted to sleep,
