The Royal culture

Hello there ~

I'm here with some information about Indian Rajput Royalty .

So some people were asking me why I would do this because most of the readers are Indian so they would already know about Indian royal culture .

But the thing is that what people know about royalty is mostly about their ruling system and a little  about their lifestyle . So here I'm gonna introduce you to their lifestyle .

1- PALACES OR RAJMAHAL

So Rajputana royal palaces where divided in two parts .

• MAIN PALACE .

The Main palace was the palace where the King and all the male members of the royal family resided and High officials were allocated their quarters there. The Main palace consisted of -

- A Royal Court - The court where the King held meetings with his ministers and officials .

- A people's court - The court where the King had direct audience with his citizens .

- An Audience room - The room where the King held private audiences with his subjects .

- Library / Archive - The place where all the documents and records passed on through generations were kept .

- Private Office / Study - Where the king used to dead with documents and political matter personally .

- Private chambers - The chambers of the King and princes of the royal family .

- Guest chambers - All the male guests stayed in the guest chambers of the Main palace while the female guest stayed in the Raniwaas .

- Servant quarters - All the male servants resided in these servant quarters . This building was built partially seperated from the Main palace but still was a part of the Main palace .

- Kitchen  - These kitchens prepared meals for all the people residing in the main palace while the Raniwaas had a seperate kitchen .

- Dinning halls - There were severe dinning halls for different people to use . The royal dinning hall was used on official occasions as the king and princes tended to eat with their queens and mothers in Raniwaas .

-Treasury - The Gold and others fund and riches  were preserved in a secret chamber in the royal palace .

• RANIWAAS -

The Raniwaas was the palace where the Queen and all the female members and children of the royal family resided . Men were not allowed to enter the Raniwaas without any valid reason  . The royal men were allowed to enter the raniwaas. The  Raniwaas  consisted of -

- Private Chambers - The chambers of the Queen and princesses of the royal family .

- Guest chambers - All the female guests stayed in the guest chambers of the Raniwaas.

-Servant quarters - All the female servants resided in these servant quarters . This building was also built partially seperated from the palace but still was a part of the Raniwaas .

-Kitchen - - These kitchens prepared meals for all the people residing in the Raniwaas.

-Dinning halls - There were different halls for royals and servants . The king and princes used to join the queen's and princesses for meals in the royal dinning hall .
