More than an hour has passed since the event started. But I could not see Kiara anywhere.
'Where the hell was she?'
'Probably with Naina..'
I told myself but despite that it still troubled me thay she didn't ask me before going with Naina, not that she had to get my permission to do so. I was in no position for her to be ASKING for my permission but she could've atleast informed me.
Informed me that I was about to be stood up on a date..
Despite of my attempts of reasoning her absence, something in my gut didn't feel right as if.. As if what? I don't know and I'd rather not know what this ridiculous feeling meant..
All I knew was that I wanted to see her, Infront of me, I wanted to see if she was okay.
I waited for the ongoing performance to end as it was ride to leave while the artist was presenting their art. The moment it was over my legs sprinted up on their own and were pacing towards where Naina was. And I assumed Kiara was too.
It hardly took me minutes to reach the beautifully curtained balcony on the other half of the palace. The moment I parted the curtain my eyes landed on Naina, who was holding a copper glass in her hand and beside her sat Yash who was looking at me, his eyes questioning my presence.
But Kiara?
Where is she?
"राजकुमारी किआरा कहाँ हैँ?"
"Where's princess Kiara?"
There was a silence following my words.
" हमें नहीं ज्ञात.. "
"I don't know."
Naina crouched up and said something but I could not hear it. My mind was blanking out. Memories of what happened years ago reappeared from a corned of my mind where they were supposed to be buried forever.
