Third person.

Ten minutes ago Ni-ki only wanted to buy some snacks from the convenience store, go home, and do his late due homework. But now here he was, standing next to Choi Yunmi's brother making their way inside their house.

Ni-ki was contemplating whether to go inside, or take a step back and run away. Of course, the first one was the more appropriate thing to do.

"Welcome to our house." Yeonjun said as Ni-ki sat on the couch as gently as possible.

"Yunmi! Your friend's here!" Yeonjun shouted.

"I have no friends!" Yunmi shouted back coming from upstairs.

"Then who's this boy who's here to see you?" Yeonjun shouted once again with a tiny laugh as he unloaded his groceries.

Seconds later, loud footsteps came running down the stairs. Yunmi peeked to see who the person is, and her eyes widened when she saw him. Not in a million years has she ever thought it Ni-ki being inside her house.

"Why the hell are you here?" Yunmi stepped out.

Why is Ni-ki here? He, himself, doesn't know why.

"I saw your brother at the convenience store." Ni-ki answered, implying.

"Of course, it just had to be my brother." Yunmi rolled her eyes and facepalmed.

"Hm." Ni-ki looked away from her face, unable to start a conversation or even a simple sentence to get away from the awkwardness between them.

"I'm going to take a shower, wait here. I won't take long." Yunmi turned to go back upstairs.

"Hey, Choi." Ni-ki called her. Yunmi tilted her head and raised her eyebrow.

"Hurry up, you stink." Ni-ki churned his face into disgust. Yunmi growled in annoyance and stomped her feet until she was gone out of Ni-ki's sight.

"She's gonna take half an hour, trust me." Yeonjun appeared and sat on the couch.

"Do you play games?" Yeonjun asked him. Ni-ki doesn't quite know what games he meant until he saw the older holding up a PS5.

"Yeah." Ni-ki sat beside him, grinning when Yeonjun tossed him one of the controllers.

"Great. Let's play before Yunmi comes back. She'll take forever anyway." Yeonjun remarked, and both ended up chuckling.

Frankly, Yunmi spent less than twenty minutes for herself. What took her longer though was cleaning her room. She only wanted to tidy it up just a bit, but it was a lot messier than she thought the more she tidied up.

She looked around, searching for whatever still needed to be cleared. She then went out of her room, and the sound of somewhat a video game got her attention. Walking to the living room, she was greeted by the sight of Ni-ki and her brother playing a video game. She crossed her arms, sitting on the armrest of the sofa.

"I won!" Yeonjun roared, punching the air that Yunmi dodged. Ni-ki hid his face with his arms and gave a losing smile.

"Right, okay that's enough." Yunmi switched off the tv and pulled Ni-ki to stand up. The taller boy confusingly complied and let her push him to walk upstairs.

"Hey, hey, where you guys going?" Yeonjun asked, watching the two go upstairs.

"To my room." Yunmi replied, which caused Ni-ki to get suddenly flustered.

He wasn't given time to think about how embarrassing it would be to enter a girl's room other than his sister's, but it seems to be fine. To his surprise, Yunmi's bedroom looks aesthetically pleasing, compared to his.

"Sorry, my room's not covered in pink." Yunmi spoke ironically, arms crossed and looking straight at the guy across her room.

"What are we doing?" Ni-ki sat comfortably in her swivel chair and spin himself around.

"To practice our dance, what else?" Yunmi said, arranging the music on her phone and connecting it to the speaker.

"Thought you had forgotten." Ni-ki got up and leaned beside Yunmi.

"Just, get in position." Yunmi heaved a sigh as Ni-ki chuckled. He didn't say anything else but did what she said.

Their bodies moved as the music played, with the same choreo that they both taught and learned from each other. Both their faces were serious, emphasizing every move to do the best they could do.

At the end of their dance, loud heavy claps were heard. Yunmi shockingly turned her head towards the door. She scoffed when it was only her brother.

"Why are you standing there?" Yunmi asked with a grim.

"Wanted to see what you were doing. You guys got some moves. That was amazing." Yeonjun praised.

"Thanks, hyung." Ni-ki smiled while running his hand through his hair.

"Was that for your dance project?" Yeonjun questioned as he lay on Yunmi's bed.

"Yeah." Yunmi replied, passing a water bottle to Ni-ki.

"Though the way you guys danced was like for a competition. What's the project for again?" Yeonjun confusingly said, causing the two to let out chuckles.

"It's just to pull up our grades. I do not want to fail Mrs. Yoon's class." Yunmi stated.

"Okay then, why don't you do it again from the start and I'll watch so I can help." Yeonjun suggested.

"We're good." Yunmi shook her head, causing Yeonjun to frown.

"Come on, sis. You know how good I am at dancing." Yeonjun insisted, his body dancing in a way that looks funny to his sister.

"You dance too?" Ni-ki beamed and looked at Yeonjun who nodded his head proudly because of the acknowledgment.

"Yes, much better than Yunmi." Yeonjun asserted. Yunmi unbelievably scoffed and looked at him offended.

"Excuse me?!" Yunmi shrieked, loud enough to make Ni-ki cringe and cover his ears.

"Hey! I taught you how to dance!"

"You did not! I learned it myself!"

Ni-ki was bewildered, sitting in front of the two siblings who were quarreling as he slowly put down his water bottle. Honestly, he was reminded of how he and Yunmi fight as well, which he is aware happens almost every day.

The sound of a phone ringing stopped them from screaming at each other. Both heads turned to the boy who put his phone on his ear.

"Mom? Mhm, I'm in Yunmi's house. I'm coming home, okay. I will." As Ni-ki dropped the call, he was met with two pairs of stares.

"I'm, uh, going. Choi- Yunmi, I'll see you tomorrow at school, yeah?" Ni-ki asked to ensure.

"Sure. Let's do our last rehearsal in your house." Yunmi hummed and Ni-ki nodded.

"It was nice to meet you, hyung." Ni-ki said as Yeonjun patted his shoulder.

Ni-ki grabbed his belongings downstairs and said his last goodbye before hurrying off. As soon as he was gone from the house, the two turned their heads to each other.

"Do you have a crush on him? Cause I'm willing to adopt him as my younger brother." Yeonjun uttered.

"He has a family, stupid." Yunmi rolled her eyes and walk away.
