After Sunny had run off, it took Aubrey and Kel about 0.00002 seconds to realize that this wasn't good, then staring at eachother with the all too familiar 'oh shit' stare.
"I TOLD YOU IT WAS A BAD IDEA!!!"
Kel yelled, as Aubrey awkwardly shuffled towards him.
"I know, i know, i know, i thought.."
Aubrey paused, then sighed.
"...i didn't think. At all.."
".."
Kel looked back at her.
"It's okay.."
He then smiled a bit.
"I'm sure we can turn this around!"
Kel looked to the direction Sunny had ran, Aubrey did too.
"We should go apologize...then maybe we can go back to normal."
"..."
Aubrey stared, getting a weird feeling and displaying the look of it on her face.
"Aubrey? It's gonna be okay y'know!"
".. yeah.."
Aubrey looked back to Kel.
"But i get the feeling..."
She paused
"It's not gonna be the same between the three of us."
As the words were spoken, for a split second.
Kel could've sworn the sky turned red.
But after he blinked it was blue as always.
"You okay?"
Kel looked around.
"Yeah...yeah.....i guess...i was just seeing things."
"What kinda things?"
"I just.."
Kel stumbled forward a bit.
"I could've sworn the sky turned red."
Aubrey stared at Kel for a moment, then said, without trying to laugh.
"Did someone put something in your Orange Joe ..?"
She then started to laugh, and Kel laughed as well.
After a bit, Kel and Aubrey got a hold of themselves, and started to get back to the point.
"Okay okay, we should go"
"Yeah!"
Kel and Aubrey then started to run to the direction Sunny went, running past the the park.
"He's probably in the house, let's check there first!"
Kel called out as they ran
"Good idea for once Kel!"
Aubrey chuckled, and they ran to Kels house with confidence.
Someone was watching them, from a park bench.
Those teal eyes moving as they ran out of sight.
"Wonder what their up to now.."
He talked to himself.
"Looking for Sunny... probably."
Basil got up, being left alone by everyone. The wind blowing his blond almost straw like hair with the one pink flower waving in it.
