FLASHBACK PART 9

Soon it was dinner time and the air hostess came to show them the menu.

Hostess - Good evening Sir and Mam ,what would like to eat for your dinner? Veg or Non veg?

Anu was the first one to answer.

Anu - I would like Non veg.

Anuj was now again speechless. His lady was surprising him a lot these days. He turned towards her and asked her if she was sure. She just nodded her head and smiled. Anuj sighed and ordered vegetarian food for himself and non vegetarian food for anu. The hostess told them their dinner will be served soon and she left.

Anuj - Anu aab yeh kya hai?

Anu - What?

Anuj - You ordered non veg,are you okay?

Anu - (chukcles) yes my dear love , i am absolutely fine. I like non veg more than veg food.

Anuj - What? Since when?

Anu - Since childhood. Although I am gujrati but my father used to bring salmon and chiken every Monday ,Wednesday and Friday. My father and I loved non vegetarian food a lot. But after I got married , my ex in laws and ex husband never allowed me to eat non veg. But after what feels like ages ,i am eating my favourite food. Thank you Anuj. (Anu smiles at him)

Anuj - Wow ,I never knew you liked non veg. But don't worry jaan ,i will never force you to stop eating non vegetarian food.

Anu smiles lovingly at him. Soon their food arrives and they start eating.

Anu - Anuj would you like to try salmon? It's so delicious.

Anuj - Nopes ,I have never eaten non veg in my life and i am a pure vegetarian. You enjoy your meal.

Anu - Please. This is so tasty and i will teach you how to eat this.

Anuj - No Anu ,i don't want to eat it.

Anu - Pretty please. (Anu says this while making an innocent poor face)

Anuj melts their and says ok. Anu's face lits up and Anuj smiles thinking how small small things affects her so much. Just to see a small smile on her face he would eat anything she gives him. Even poison so non veg was nothing.

Anu places a small salmon on his plate and tells him to eat it.

Anu - Okay so you have to remove the bones and eat the flesh, alright?

Anuj - (smiles) okay.

Anuj takes a bite and instantly smiles.

Anuj - Wow Anu ,this....this is damn delicious. It is spicy and soft. I loved it. Do you know how to make it? (He asked excitedly)

Anu - Yes , I haven't made it for so many years. So i might have forgotten the recipe but don't worry i will learn it again and cook it for you. Did you really like it?

Anuj - Liked? I loved it Shona.

Anu blushes slightly when he calls her Shona.

Anuj - Anu so from now on ,will you cook this for me every Monday, Wednesday and Friday?

Anu - of course honey.

This time Anuj blushes when she calls him honey. They both finishes their meal. Anuj who found Anu's food so tasty and delicious eats her whole meal while poor Anu eats his veg food as she has no option left.

After eating their food it was 11pm and both were tired so they decided to sleep.
