FLASHBACK PART 10

So lovely readers, in this chapter the flight lands in new york and both of them head directly towards their house. And here Anuj gives her the best surprise of her life. He gifts her the apartment on the 38th floor and brings the biggest smile on her face. So enjoy!

Anu's POV

The flight landed after what feels like ages and finally Anuj and I got up from our seats, carried our luggage and went out along with the other passengers. It was a long 15 hours 45 minutes flight. We both were tired as hell. I looked at my handsome boyfriend who was looking more handsome in that messy hair.

Yesterday my lovely boyfriend ate my whole meal and didn't even let me taste it. My mistake that I forced him to eat it and anyways who doesn't like non veg. I love it.

So now we are standing at the exit of the new york city airpot waiting for our car to arrive. I insisted Anuj that I will take a cab but he said he will drop me. I still have the address of my apartment which is given to me by the company where I am gonna work. It was a small cozy apartment but I liked it. Finally the car arrived and stopped near us.

It was a Mercedes and to say I was mesmerized by the car. Yeah the car was damn gorgeous. The driver opened the door for us and we hop in. After half an hour we reached our destination. WAIT! This is not my apartment. I looked at Anuj and asked him.

Anu - Anuj what are we doing here? This is not my apartment building. I guess we are at a wrong address.

Anuj - No mohtarma we are at the right address. Now I want you to close your eyes with this cloth and come with me.

He offers her a black cloth and asks her to close her eyes.

Anu - What? Anuj stop playing games with me. I am really tired of our long journey and all I want to do is rest for some time. So please tell me what's going on.

Anuj - Mohtarma trust me , just close your eyes. I swear this is not a game or a joke. I want to give you a surprise. So please close your eyes. For me. Pleaseee.

Damn ! That voice, oh god! why did you blessed him with such a cute baby voice. I cannot refuse that voice.

Anu - Okay fine.

Anuj smiles and wraps the cloth around her eyes. He makes sure she cannot see anything and then takes her inside the building. It was a lavish and luxurious building. He goes near the elevator and waits for 2 minutes. Then the elevator doors opens and he carefully takes her in. Soon they reach 38th floor where there were only 3 apartments. The first two apartments were of Anuj and anupama and the last apartment was of a rich businessman. Anuj went near her apartment and opened the door using keys. Then he removed the cloth and she slowly opened her eyes.

Anupama was so surprised and shocked. She had never seen such a wonderful apartment in her life ever. In her childhood she was from a lower middle class family and after she got married she became a middle class housewife and now she is rich. She just couldn't believe her fortune. She looked at Anuj with tears in her eyes.

Anu - Anuj aap ne yeh mere liye. Thank....thank you so much.

She runs and hugs him tightly and cries in his chest. Anuj smiles at her sweet gesture and returns the hug.

Anu - Yeh mere life ka sabse best surprise hai. Thank you Anuj...I love you so much.

Now Anuj was over the moon hearing her say those three magical words. Although they have already proceeded their relationship but Anu have never said I love you to Anuj. She had used some phrases like, "I want to grow old with you" and "I maan you." So her saying i love you to him for the first time was like a music to his ears.

Anuj - Anu firse bolo na.

Anu - (chuckles) kya?

Anuj - Yaarr...i love you firse bolo na.

Anu - (smiles) I Love....

Anuj narrowed his eyes at her and she laughed loudly.

Anuj - Chalo mai tumhe baki ka ghar bhi dikhata hoon.

The kitchen was small yet elegant.

The first bedroom was royal and it was just near the kitchen.

The second bedroom was plain and simple. It was for guests.

The third bedroom was lavish and elegant. It had the most beautiful views and also a tv.

Anuj asked her to choose any one bedroom. She chooses the third one as it was the best bedroom among the other bedrooms.

Soon the house tour was over and Anu was mesmerized by the apartment and also the views from her apartment. Even the bathrooms were designed very professionally. Everything was perfect and Anuj living just in front of her excited her more. She was happy to have him near her.

Anuj handed her the apartment keys and told her that now it was her apartment.
