Their Sunshine

FLASHBACK (THEIR WEDDING)

When Arohi was one year old, Anuj and Anupama decided it was the right time to get married.

At 11:00 am, in New York.

A man was seen sitting on chair nervously fidgeting with his hands.

Anuj - How do I look?

Sameer - (Anuj's friend) God Anuj you have asked me the very question for the 30th time now. I am fed up with you, i wonder how Anu still handles you.

Anuj smackes him on his head and stares at him.

Anuj - Well, it's my wedding and every groom on his wedding day is the most happiest as well as the most tensed.

Sameer - (chuckles) Yes you are right my friend but you are the first groom who is this nervous. It's going to be okay buddy.

Sameer lightly pats on his shoulder and gives him a hopeful smile.

Anuj - (smiles) Actually itne saalo baad meri Anu finally meri hone wali hai. I am so happy yaar. Jiss Anu se maine pyaar karna kabhi nahi choda  woh aaj mujhse utna hee pyaar karti hai and aab meri wife hone wali hai. I am very very happy Sam.

Sameer gets a little emotional and hugs his friend.

Sameer - Tu dekh Bhai, Anu bhabhi na aaj se humesha ke liye Teri hogi. And mai yeh dua karta hoon ki tum dono ki jodi humesha khush rahe.

Anuj smiles and hugs him back. A girly voice interrupts their emotional conversation.

Anuj glances towards the door and sees his bestfriend devika standing at the door looking at the duo in admire.

Devika - Aree wah, kya baat hai. Waha meri bestfriend itni tayaar hoke bethi hai aur tum dono abhi tak yahi ho. Chalo Anuj, shaadi nahi karni hai kya.

Anuj quickly interrupts her.

Anuj - Nahi nahi nahi, karni hai na. Of ourse karni hai.

Both Sameer and devika laughs at his face.

Anuj - Waise devu, Anu kaisi dikh rahi hai?

Devika with smirk - Pata nahi Anuj, tu khud hee dekh le na. Vaise bhi shaadi ke baad, raat ko toh tum dono akele hee honge na tab ekdum fursat se dekh le na, okay?

Sameer bursts out laughing along with devika while Anuj looks down in embarrassment.

Anuj - Devika ki bacchi tu ruk.

She runs out for her dear life while Sameer holds Anuj back.

At 11:30 am.

Panditji - Aab dhule aur dhulan ko bulaiye.

Anuj comes down with Sameer and his other friends and sit on his position patiently waiting for his dulhaan.

After a minute Anupama walks down the stairs in a pinkish red saree with a light blush on her gorgeous face along with devika.

As soon as Anuj sees her descending down the stairs he simply gets lost in his mohtarma's beauty. She did looked drop dead gorgeous in that wedding saree (which was his choice by the way) with a small yet the most beautiful smile playing on her lips. She looked as one of those goddess which he had only seen in books or movies till now.

Whereas Anu's condition wasn't any better. Her bholuram was not looking so bholu at that moment. As soon as their eyes met both had felt a strong sensation running through their bodies. She looked at him as he was not looking any less handsome than a greek god. His eyes were shining while his lips were smiling. Oh! those eyes and lips, she was totally lost in admiring her soon- to -be husband.

She sat besides Anuj who had not taken his eyes away from her even once.

Anuj - Someone is looking so beautiful today.

Anu blushes and looks away.

Anu - Well you are not looking bad yourself.

Panditji starts the rasam and soon it was time for them to exchange the garlands.

Panditji - Aab aap unhe mangalsutra pehnaiye.

Anuj takes the mangalsutra from pandit and gently ties it around her neck. As soon as he was done with it they hear a loud voice of a small kid.

It was none other than their daughter Arohi.

Arohi came running towards them and was about to climb up the stage if devika had not stopped her and taken the little mischief in her arms.

Anuj and Anu both laughs at their daughter's attempts to climb up the stage.

As soon as Arohi sees her father she loudly screams " Papa ". Everyone in the hall laughs while both her parents chuckles. Devika takes Arohi on one side while their rituals proceeds further.

Soon their marriage rituals ends and both takes their vows and everyone's blessings.

Lastly they takes photos with all their friends, colleagues and other guests.

Arohi runs out of her devika masi's arms and goes towards Anuj. Anu and Anuj were busy taking photos as they didn't noticed her. She holds anuj's leg with her tiny hands and looks up at her father. Anuj glances down and picks her up. They both takes some photos with their lovely daughter and proceeds to eat.

Finally Anupama Joshi becomes The Anupama Anuj Kapadia.
