FLASHBACK ENDS

6 months later......

Anu and Anuj were living in USA now for almost half year. And they both had a very good time there. Anu met some new friends, she also became best friend with Emma and Vicky. Infact Vicky flirts with her in front of Anuj to tease and annoy him.Even Anu enjoys that.

Anuj too expanded his business and he also achieved a big deal 3 months ago. That deal helped him to reach at the top in the business world. Now he became the billionaire from a millionaire. Also Anu achieved a lot of success in her field. She soon, in just 4 months took over her boss Mr Williams position and became the boss of the most famous interior designing company. All because of her hardwork and dedication in her job. She even bought a new apartment for herself where now she lives with Anuj. They both shifted in her new apartment which was on the 30th floor near the Central park in new york. Overall both were having a good life until one day when Anu received a call from India.

Anu's POV

I am so so so happy today. Infact I am ecstatic. My company had achieved a big deal and also my name has been nominated for "the new york style magazine". Right now I am busy choosing a good outwear. Me and Anuj are going outside to have lunch, well it's more like a date/luncheon. But I can't decide what to wear. Just two weeks ago we both had a wild night. But  after that night I am feeling very nauseous and today in the morning I threw up for like 4 times. Maybe it's because I have cought some fever.

Just as I was about to wear my dress I heard my phone rang. Without looking at the caller id , i picked it up. But as soon as I heard that voice , my heart started beating faster.

I nervously said hello. It was none other than baa, my ex mother in law. But why is she calling me now.

Baa - Tera hello rahne de aur meri baat dhyan se sun. Tere Bapuji ko heart attack aya hai.

That's when my heart stopped. Bapuji got an heart attack?!!? I started panicking. Soon Anuj entered my room and noticed my panick state.

Anuj - What happened and who is on the phone?

I shushed him.

Anu - Kya?!! Heart attack par kaise aur doctor ne kya kaha?

Baa - Doctor ne kaha ki woh aab thik hai lekin ye doobara bhi aa sakta hai.

Anu - oh thank god woh thik hai aab.

Baa - Woh sab rahne de aur jaldi se yaha aaja. Woh tujhe hee yaad kar rahe hai. Agar unhe kuch hua na anupama, toh mai tumhe chodungi nahi yeh tu yaad rakhna.

Anu tears up and sits on her bed.

Anu - Baa mai abhi India aa rahi hoon aur unhe kuch nahi ho ga, aap dariye mat.

Baa - Huh( angrily) Mai kyu daru , aur tu jaldi aaja aur aabse tu yahi rahegi Shah house mai aur Bapuji ki seva karegi. Mere pati ko kuch hona nahi chahiye.

Anu - (nods) Baa mai kal tak pohch jaungi aap tension mat lijiye. Phone rakhti hoon. Kanhaji dhyan rakh Jo. Bye.

Baa - cuts the phone angrily.

POV ends.

Anuj sits beside her calms her down. Anu starts crying.

Anuj - Shush...Anu sab thik hoga okay. Aab tum rona bandh karo aur batao kiska phone tha.

Anu - Woh....(cries)....woh Anuj baa...baa ka phone tha (sniff)...Bapuji ko heart......(sniff) ..heart attack aya tha.

Anuj - Shush....toh aab kaise hai woh?

Anu - Aab thik hai lekin doctor ne kaha doobara bhi aa sakta hai. Toh humme India jana hoga.

Anuj - Ok, don't worry mai tickets book karta hoon. Aur tum tension mat lo, hmm? Sab thik hoga.

He wipes her tears with his fingers and kisses her forehead lovingly. Then he takes out his phone and calls someone. After some time he ends the call and turns towards Anu.

Anuj - Tickets book ho gayi , aaj raat 7 baaje ki flight hai so packing start Karo. And anu , aab Bapuji thik hai, okay. So tum shaant ho jao, sab thik hoga.

He hugs her and calms her down.

At 5pm...

Anu was packing her bags in her room and Anuj was sitting on her bed typing something work related on his laptop. Just as she was packing , she felt nauseous again. It was the 5th time on this day. She kept her hand on her mouth and ran towards the bathroom. Anuj quickly sat up and went to the bathroom. The door was locked so he couldn't enter. He heard her throwing up so he asked, "Anu is everything all right? And do you have fever?? Anu open the damn door."

Anu - I am fine just go and it's nothing.

Anuj - Are you sure? You want me to call the doctor?

Anu - No just go Anuj, i am fine now.

Anu had no idea why she was feeling so nauseous these days. She made a mental note to visit a doctor once she lands in India.

Soon it was 7pm and the flight took off. Anuj had booked two tickets in business class so there was no crowd where they were sitting. Anu was sitting near the window seat. Soon she drifted off to sleep.
