If Sebastian had to sit through another one of these useless meetings that only ended with the bastards screeching at each other, Sebastian would rip his hair from his scalp. Despite Devon suggesting about the Demon going as an Envoy Kevin had declined saying the Evan didn't wanted to go. And he had ordered Stefan and Sebastian to go along with Steven and Karina. So the squad had called in for an emergency meeting.

Beside him, Sasha groaned, Sebastian was currently having a meeting with squad. Sasha was his stand in.

But for some reason Elder Bella decided to join them along with few others.

He glanced down at his side, where was a copy of the treaty Kevin had proposed the other day.

Kevin. His friend. His first love? Were they even able to remain friends? He knew Kevin still considered him to be his bestfriend. But Sebastian doubted himself.

He just wanted to hate that hypocrite.
Now that he found his mate. He had forgotten about everything else. Did the pack actually mattered to him.

He watched Elder Bella talk, her face bored. How relatable.

Harris an middle aged man was arguing something with Elder Bella. Sebastian isn't sure why they had decided to join his squad meeting.

“Enough!” he called, when the arguing  people finally frayed his nonexistent patience. They slowly fell into silence, gazes ranging between questioning, to irritated, to carefully blank or resigned.

“Why are you here Elder Bella,” he said slowly.

" If it wasn't for our Alpha playing houses with a Demon, I wouldn't have been here,” Elder Bella snorted. Sebastian glared at him, feeling his eyebrow twitch.

“You dare say that?” he asked quietly, calmly, with a false edge of sickening sweetness. The Elder paled, seeming to realize she stepped over a line. But she had already stepped too far to turn back now.

“We are all aware of your loyalty to the Alpha,” she began, and Sebastian resisted the urge to snort. What an absolute suck up. “But what I want to propose is for the betterment of the pack.” she paused, and Sebastian scowled.

“Go on, Elder Bella ,” he said clearly curious.

“We can't face Devon and Kevin head on, nor the Demon.”

Ah, this, Sebastian inhaled deeply. “ If you are here to turn me against my Alpha, it's better for you to leave”

“Our target is the Demon,” Elder Bella protested, “There is information that the Ravagers..”

“I dare you to finish that sentence,” Sebastian hissed, low and threatening.  “I don't know what your intentions are but bringing in the Ravagers, have you lost your mind.”

“They want him dead too.” Harris said .

"What?” Sasha asked in surprise. Sebastian raised an eyebrow.

“Yes? For a while, now. Words have spread that he is an extremely intelligent battle tactician. He is a formidable enemy for the Ravagers”

“All I want is to live in peace,” Sasha said dryly. “Now we have a terrifying White Demon on the land. Freaking terror.”
