The Demon had no feelings.
He couldn't have. If he did, Sebastian had to let go of his resentment and hate. And most importantly Kevin. And he is still not ready to do that.
It was the type of feeling that made him loose all his reasoning, the type that raged within him like a wildfire. It made his blood boil with rage and disgust when he as much as heard the albino's name.
Sebastian still remembered how his pack mates were injured. And how some of them died with the Demon's fatal blows. That was war he could understand that much.
But a Demon doesn't have emotions, Sebastian reminded himself. Perhaps it was Devon's and Celine's work that had kept the monster in check.
They are always about how their brother is actually a good person, and sweet. The thought made him barf.
The memories of that war were still vivid on his mind. Sure he wanted peace. He wanted Kevin's dream to flourish. But not with a monster beside him. He couldn't accept that.
And if was allowed he would express all his distaste for the Albino. If he ever got a chance he would expose the monster to the world.
Unfortunately he wasn't invited for the peace talks. As if it was planned by both Kevin and Stefan that his presence would cause undue friction in the meetings.
Rather, he would and take over Kevin's duties in the compound. And Kevin would hold the "only Alpha's and Luna's meeting".
He was not sure how long the talks would take, initially he had planned to wait for his Alpha outside. But to his irritation. The meeting was going on for way too long.
And he had planned to meet Elder Bella to discuss the date for the coup against the Monster.
Elder Bella, Sasha, Peter and some other pack members had made it clear that they were not sold on this notion of peace, not with the Demon. And Sebastian planned to stand by them.
"I don't know where to start but can we trust the Ravagers? I mean I have met them that the presence was not a joke. Lot of you wouldn't stand a chance against them and again there is the 'letter incident' "
"Surely, you can see by now that this is a our only option! We have already come this far. We should just let them take the Demon! And get them off our Backs! After that we can think about Alpha Kevin" Elder Bella nearly shouted "Our Pack is being targeted anyway"
It was the same argument over and over again. Sebastian wanted Evan gone as much as Elder Bella, maybe even more but he couldn't bring himself to trust the third party involved. And since Kevin's outburst he didn't know what to think of it. And he was quickly losing patience for it.
He would much rather be at Kevin's office. Watch him work. And talk about his plans.
"The peace that Alpha Kevin is preaching about. It won't last. As soon as the Ravagers will attack. The other packs would abandon us" Elder Bella repeated once more.
"So you say we trust them into our territory, Elder Bella with due respect if they turn on us it will be bloody. Innocents will die!"
"As I have said before, we are already deep into it. Do you think they will take no for an answer now. Or do you wish to go to your Alpha now. You think he will trust you after he gets to know what you were planning?," Elder Bella replied, quite reasonably.
