Raging anger spread through Kevin's bones, as he saw his friend desperately pull his battered body towards the tree. His naked form almost red and black with broken bones and cuts. As much as he wanted to look after his friend. Kevin didn't had the time to do so. And he wasn't dead yet. They were both alive. They could fight. They needed to fight.

"You bastard!" Kevin screamed as he shifted to his brown wolf and charged at his enemy.

"Look out!" Devon yelled, he sat up with his back against the tree, watching the scene unfolding infront of him. But Kevin couldn't hear him. With the downpour. Suddenly it had rained hindering their senses. And Kevin had already crossed his limits. It's only a matter of time before his body gives up. As much as Devon wanted to rush right back. He couldn't not with all his broken bones.

The two beasts clashed as they delivered their blows to each other. And suddenly, the wolf fell backwards.

Kevin's body collided with the first branch, followed by further multiple impacts as the tree branches incrementally broke his fall. Kevin pushed the ground and rolled himself onto his back, his body protesting in agony at his every movement. His jaw felt broken, hot and swelling, and painful, and the black clouds swirled and tilted nauseatingly above him as the back of his head throbbed in time.

He felt the reptilian beast walk towards him, But he couldn't take even a step away. Devon screamed something . He couldn't even make out Devon's scream in the heavy rain.

Death stood in front of him and he could only brace himself for it.

But it didn't come. Instead, the figure across from him was attacked, the Chimera was being attacked by two She-wolves he knew so well. But Kevin couldn't look any longer. He felt a sharp pain shoot through him as he lost conciousness.

.....................

Markian was confused. A different type of unease filled his heart. Though he was fighting giving his all his mind was wondering somewhere else. He was feeling restless and panicked.

He was absentmined and so lost, that he wouldn't have survived if Luna Karina hadn't had his back. They were fighting as a team despite never having exchanged blows before. They had voluntarily followed Alpha Phoebeous. And he was impressed with everyone and mostly with the She-wolf's fighting skills, Luna Karina's strength almost rivaled Celine Rickson. Markian had seen the other She-wolf so he could compare the two. Even Alpha Phoebeous and Luna Sarah were in a different league . He was almost sure that he sucked. And then he was filling jittery and angry. Various emotions were raging through him. There was no time to dwell but he couldn't ignore the constriction in his heart.

He was so wrapped up with his overflowing feelings, he didn't see Celine tumbling out bloodied in her wolf form. But she didn't look injured in the least only exhausted.

She looked panicked and she wasted no time and ran towards the river. Markian tensed. Celine was running towards the place where Kevin and Devon were fighting the head of the Ravagers. The look in her face was of worry. Markian couldn't control the feeling of dread crawling at him. He was not good with his senses but Celine was a good tracker.

Beside him Karina looked alarmed. She sprinted as fast as she could manage. Running after her sister in law. Markian didn't needed to be told anything. He looked at Alpha Phoebeous holding up his enemy, and ran after the She-wolfs.

And then it starts to rain .

Heavy and endless lines of water falling from the darkening skies above.

Their paws splash against the small puddles of water as they run through the routes between the trees. Celine in the lead, frantic urgency buoying her stamina as she races over the watery grass at a dead sprint .

Celine drops to a crouch, drawn, staring with alarm at the scene before her, Karina gasps nearly falling over, and all of them adopt matching expressions of horror as they see Devon and Kevin.

Fear. Not just any fear though--panic, all-consuming and overwhelming takes over Markian's heart and it takes every last bit of his strength to not freeze up or break right there.

Karina begins to shake and for a terrible, terrible moment, the realization just hangs there.

Celine started to growl and runs towards the Creature above the broken forms of her brother and friend. Karina follows letting out a howl full of sorrow.

Markian kept looking at the scene transfixed. He didn't wanted to be here. But it made sense. Everything made sense. The sense of fear. The anxiety. It wasn't for his Kevin but for the enemy he loathed so much.

He wanted to join them, but he just stood there. Rooted to the spot and he could only watch the figures as they fought.

P.S: Its short, and abrupt but please make do with it. Thankyou.
