Mail stood on the planet Xenostis. The waves crashing. "Come out and let's talk this over." Her tears flowed down her face in an ugly manner. Out stepped from the temple a young man, with pale cracked skin.
Opening his mouth he let out a hiss. "If you want to know if this is your future, it is."
Mail's tears became one with the mist. "How do I stop it. How do I make him mine? What can I do to keep him here with me."
The man's face curled to a smile. "We sadly cannot control another's destiny. At first I had wanted that boy to be my slave, my new host, but now that you have shown me his future... I'm glad I have not possessed him. Sadly the only thing to do is join him."
Mail screamed. "And what, betray all I know and love, just to be with him!"
"It's what you want, is it not? The future is that for the taking, but only if you're willing to be strong enough."
"Fine! You win. I'll join him on his quest."
Waking up, Astrie was soaked. It had rained and he chose to sleep outside.
"Time to make your report." A familiar voice called.
Astrie looked over at Corvex. Astrie's siege on Geonosis had done a number to him. Forcing him to rest for a week. "It's time already? Just when I thought I could avoid responsibility."
Corvex, who had officially been stripped of his title of Jedi, had to, been soaked. "Mail requests a full report, and a sparing partner." Corvex winked, though Astrie was too oblivious.
"I'll go."
The way to the wolf clan was short but troubling. The swamp proved to be a difficult area to move through. Consistently getting stuck in mud. A tingling sensation in his back told him to take longer, like he would need to to survive, and he did so.
"Mail, what a surprise. I thought you called a meeting to ditch us again." Kiy'aa asked in a sarcastic, teasing voice.
"She wouldn't want to miss a chance to see Astrie." The eye-less Vellor turned. "But that's not the reason for this meeting. I sense something much more... important?" His last words were confused.
Tibleb sat meditating upon his seat as the rest of the council mingled. Worr walked in with a sense of worry on his face. "You're finally here to do it?"
Mail turned as her face curled with confusion. "Do what?"
Kiy'aa turned to Worr. "You're kidding. Tibleb's nightmare wasn't a vision. Mail wouldn't."
Mail seemingly disappeared. Vellor stepped forward. "Oh, but she would."
"Mail!" Worr called out in distress. "Before you do this. Tell me. Did we go to far, could we have prevented this?" The worry in his voice echoed around the meeting room. "Is this the flaw in the Jedi you spoke of?"
The yellow lightsaber ignited from the shadows, outlined with orange. The left hand crackled with a purple lightning. Mail leaped towards Vellor who quickly drew his green lightsaber, as the rest drew theirs, all except Tibleb. Vellor's green blade met Mail's in a flash of light. The purple lightning struck out of Mail's hand twords Tibleb only to be blocked by Kiy'aa's green lightsaber. The crackling lightning faded as Mail's blade pivoted to block the elegant strike from Worr's orange saber.
Mail screamed sending everyone flying back. "You're fools. The lot of you. Jedi through out history were alllosed to have lovers, but no, not I."
Worr took a defensive stance as Mail shot lightning towards him. Vellor, moving a piece of the wall in the way blocked it. "We did it for you and Astrie. You struggled with attachment, look what the death of your master did to you!"
Mail screamed as a blast of fire flew from her mouth. As the blast seared Vellor's cloak she yelled. "You have no right to turn my failures against me. One time! One time one person died in my arms. I was 12. How did you expect me to react. My rage has it rights, just as yours do!"
As Mail leaped towards Vellor Worr force pushed her towards Kiy'aa. Mail shifted her form mid air into a spiral. The corkscrew spin lunged at Kiy'aa blocking her green blade and stabbing her stomach.
The green lightsaber deactivated as Kiy'aa exhaled her last breath. As if the last breath was her life leaving her body Mail deactivated her saber. She watched as the now lifeless body fell to the floor. The blue skin of the nameless twi'lek dropped to the floor. "Now no one will remember your name." Mail spat on the face of the motionless, reactionless corps.
Vellor froze in shock of the sudden death, as Mail effortlessly sent a stream of blue lightning at him. Striking Vellor the lightning went from blue, to purple, to red. Finally as the red began to darken the nameless Miraluka's body shriveled and deformed.
Mail's gaze shifted twords the Ewok Jedi Tibleb. Going to strike him Worr used the force to pull her towards him. Mail again shifted to a downward strike, shattering the ground were Worr had once stood. No words of acknowledgement or disrespect, they instead stared into each other's eyes as their lightsabers exchanged blows. Clash after clash they didn't blink, nor did they look away, the only thing that changed was distance and the pattern of swings, stabs, and force powers. Until Worr was finally caught up to. Mail's Juyo form allowed her to overpower him. She stabbed his leg, and as he fell he said a very few things. "What will he think... When he sees what you've become?" Her blade met the neck of a blue skinned sith pure blood.
Tibleb stood from his chair, looking over at Mail he ignited his blue lightsaber. In words he knew Mail could understand he spoke. "You had to kill them, the force willed it, but one of many Wills. If I am to die then all Wills must will it."
Tibleb leaped into the air, jumping from the walls, ceiling, and debris all around them to propel his attacks. Reaching speeds that outclassed swoop bikes he struck at Mail, again and again. Her blade seemed to match speed, but it wasn't till about thirteen minutes later the Mail decided to end the fight. With the urge to finish the longest fight of the two she reached out with all her hatred. Grasping Tibleb with the force she began to crush his body, one by one the bones began to break. It wasn't until Mail heard footsteps behind her that she dropped the limp ball of fur.
