Third Person POV:

It's a peaceful day in the city of New York. Everything from the day before, is happening again today. This will later prove to be significant to our heroes' plans.

Speaking of which...

Aria's POV:

Leo's on the skating ramp perfecting his tricks, Dad's sitting in his chair with me on the floor beside him, while Donnie, Mikey, and Raph stand in front of our TV screen as the video projector plays one of our favorite Lou Jitsu movies: 'Teriyaki Shakedown'. Raph is mimicking Lou Jitsu's movements and lip-syncing to his dialogue, while Mikey & Donnie do the same with the movie's villains.

Donnie & Mikey: *lip-syncs with the on-screen villains* "Where's our free grub, noodle man?"

Raph turns from the TV screen to face them as he lip-syncs Lou Jitsu's lines with a 'tough guy' smile.

Raph: "Okay, ha. How about some...hot soup?"

He then grabs their heads and throws each of them face-first into two bowls of hot noodle soup. Noodles fly through the air and one lands on Dad's chin as he slurps it up with a smile. As for the other, I spin one of my kunais to wrap the noodle around it, and eat it as it slides off the tip of the blade.

Raph: "Too spicy for you? -*laughs*-Everyone's a critic."

You'd think Don and Mikey would have a problem with this, right? Then clearly, you haven't met these guys. They live for this kind of stuff.

Exhibit A:

Donnie: "Man, 'Teriyaki Shakedown' always gets me so-*takes a breath*-jazzed!"

Exhibit B:

Raph: "Yeah, Lou Jitsu's the business!"

Need I say more? Anyway, their techniques must be flawed since Dad responds to their excitement with a frown and throws the remote at Raph's head, causing him to go down.

Dad: "Then why do you insult the master with your poor technique?"

Me: "Actually, I thought they were pretty good. They meant no dishonor, Sensei."

He then hits the others in the head as they groan in pain. When he gets to me, he gives me a warm smile and a pat on the head.

Dad: "You have a kind heart, my daughter. Never lose it! It is an important quality for any ninja, as well as speed, precision, and agility. All important skills that you possess."

I return his smile at these words as he turns to the others with a frown.

Dad: "As for the rest of you, do not worry. Someday you will all be great ninjas with a little practice. Is something I would say if I were a liar."

Mikey: "That's nice of you to say, Pop, but I'm tired of practicing."

Raph: "Yeah, we can be heroes like Lou Jitsu!"

Dad laughs at their remarks.

Dad: "Nice try."

My smile quickly disappears as he walks off. I owe everything to these guys, including Splinter. If it weren't for his approval at my brother's actions that fateful day, I'd still be on the run from the Foot. But still, he can be kinda harsh toward the guys, especially Donnie. Sometimes, I wish he'd ease up on them. At the same time, I know that this must be how his family taught him the ways of becoming a ninja.
