The Clothes Don't Make the Turtle: Part 2

Aria's POV:

Raph: "We were on our-Uh, we just walked-Um, we need clothes?"

Mikey: "What's wrong with how we normally look?"

Raph: "I think we were going to see a show, uh..."

{Flashback}

I'm reading a book my Dad lent me on alchemy, Mikey's in Splinter's armchair, and Raph & Donnie sit side-by-side on the floor in front of the TV playing a video game.

Donnie: "Raph, you're totally cheating."

Raph: "Ha! That's not cheating. This is cheating!"

Raph sticks his arm in Donnie's face while my eyes never leave the page I'm on.

Me: "Boys, play nice, or I'll unplug the game, and you'll lose all your high scores."

Saved by the bell, Leo enters the room with an excited grin and kicks the video game console away.

Leo: "Guys, guys, guys! Prepare to be so grateful I'm your brother. Behold! 5 tickets to the-Wait for it. Wait for it. Magic Town House!"

I gasp in excitement while the others look on in confusion.

Raph: "The magic what what?"

Leo: "The M.T.H., Magic Town House, is having their annual night of a million secrets, and this year they're unveiling Houdini's secret journals for the first time ever!"

Raph: "I've never seen Leo this excited to see a book, so it must be something, or it'll be stupid and we can make fun of him. Either way, win-win. Let's get ready."

Me: "Woo-hoo!"

Mikey: "You like this stuff, Ari?"

Me: "My dad's a brilliant warrior alchemist who can control plant life, and Leo's my 2nd favorite brother. Of course, I like this stuff! I mean, if I could get my hands on those journals, Dad & I could expand our powers and be virtually unstop-"

The guys all stare at me in surprise, while Donnie chuckles with a kiss to my temple.

Donnie: "I have never loved you more, my ninja warrior alchemist."

Leo: "Yeah, the mad scientist and the warrior alchemist in-training. You two deserve each other."

I chuckle as we all leave the lair to get ready for the Magic Town House.

Leo: "Wait. I'm your 2nd favorite? Then who's your first?"

{Present time}

Leo: "Of course. How could I forget about the Magic Town House?"

Raph: "We must be getting ready for it."

Mikey: "This is all wrong. If we're going to a magic show, it must mean..."

All: "Black tie!"

So, we all go through another montage of suits before settling on matching suits and a dress for me.
