Vivian followed Damon towards a house. She smiled kindly at the prying eyes and as a woman in a blue dress noticed Damon, she smiled and said to Damon,
"You didn't come alone." She stated, eyeing Vivian as she stood at the door. Damon cursed in his head and forced a smile."She's a family friend. She's trustworthy." Damon says, towards the lady.
"Oh, well, come on in, please." She says, and Vivian sighs lightly and slowly enters. Quickly standing beside Damon.
"I'm Vivian." She introduced, kindly.
"Well, it's a shake we had to meet under theses circumstances." She said. "I'm Carol Lockwood and this is Sherif Forbes."
"Anyway." Damon said, cutting in. "How is he?" He asked, looking down at the body. Vivian raised a brow, the face some what familiar to her as she looked him over. Her mind going over every face she remembers. However, the only thing she can remember is the name Lockwood.
"He's dead." The woman in the police uniform stated flatly. Damon sighed as he bent down. Vivian moved past the brunette woman and went to the other side of the man. Damon turned his head over and it was then did she notice the blood on his neck.
Vivian and Damon share a quick knowing look."He'll be fine." Damon announced.
"What are you talking about? Damon, he's dead." Carol said.
"Well...." Damon dragged out as he slowly stood up. Vivian copied and moved to stand beside him. "Here's the thing...John's ring? It's an old Gilbert heirloom that protects its owner from death by a supernatural entity." He explained, and Vivian had to wonder how he was able to be so open with what he was saying. If she had to guess, she would assume that they knew somewhat of the supernatural world.
"But he's not breathing. He has no pulse." She goes on.
"He will be. Trust me." Damon sighed and shifted his eyes towards the body of John and Vivian sighed, getting what he was saying.
While he grabbed under his arms, Vivian grabbed his feet to help."We're gonna need a cover story." Damon says. "Epileptic fit, alcohol binge, banana peel. Whatever works. Right now, we're gonna get him out of here."
"I did not sign up for this." Vivian says, once they reach outside and towards his car. Damon laughs.
"You and me both. But your staying...why?"
Vivian sighed as they throw the body in the trunk. "I don't know." She admits. And it was the truth. She had no idea why she was staying. But she guessed it was because she wasn't a runner. Not like Katherine. And she vowed to never be like her.

When the duo plus John's body made it back to the boarding house, Vivian opened the door for Damon and watched with slight amusement as he threw the body onto the ground.
"What now?" She asked, watching as Damon looked at the blood covering himself.
"Not sure. I'll be back." He said, Vivian nodded and sighed.

"Does Elena often get kidnapped?" Vivian had asked, after Damon had found out, they met with Stefan and immediately left and were in rescue mode.
"Meh." Damon had answered, after the car had parked. Vivian smirked and shook her head. She couldn't help but think of the old days. Thinking of times where all the had to worry about was where they were going to spend the day, instead, now, she was hiding body's and rescuing doppelgänger's and fighting off old feelings. What had her over due life come to?
"This is the place?" Stefan asked, as they come up to a big house. Vivian sighed. Getting out of the car. She still didn't know if she liked them or not. Some things were easier to get used to, and others were not.
Like being alone with her two former lovers. It was weird, the feeling she had gotten when she was with them. Especially now.
"It better be. It's the nicest foreclosure." Damon says.
"So who is this woman?" Vivian decided to ask. She though she ought to know what they were up against.
Damon sighed. "She's Elena's biological mother."
"Why is she—"
"I swear to God, if she's not in there..." Stefan's eager voice cut her off.
Damon shook his head. "Don't be such a pessimist." He tells his brother."I'll explain later." Damon tells her. Vivian sighed as the three enter.
"I got upstairs." Stefan says, rushing up the staircase and leaving Damon and Vivian to check the lower floor. Vivian had observed how worried Stefan was for Elena. She had guessed that this was how they felt when she disappeared. What's left of her heart clenched at the very thought.
"You check over there." Damon instructed towards her. Vivian nodded with a small smile. Her heels clicking against the floor as she moves around the empty room. She wasn't there, and that was clear.
"This is Isobel's stuff." Damon said, once Stefan came back downstairs. "It's definitely the right place."
"Where are they?" Stefan asked, stress evident in his voice.
"I'm sure we'll find them." Vivian says, and inwardly cringes at her surly unhelpful words. However, Stefan sent her a half smile of thanks before he turned back to Damon.
~
Elena was set free. The woman named Isobel was now dead and gone. John was alive again, and something deep in Vivian's gut told her that that wasn't all. That there was something she was missing.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
Vivian had been back at her desk. Her dirty heels off to the side and forgotten. The book open and being read. Vivian sighed, turning her head to the side as Damon stood there leaning up against the door frame. Damon walked forward and didn't say anything else as he walked over towards the bookshelf. He hummed a soft tune as he browsed the options before him.
"Today was nuts." Vivian says, shaking her head as she reached for her wine glass that held no wine at all. The red liquid slid down her throat with ease.
"It's just another Tuesday for me, really." Damon chuckled as he finally picked a book from the shelf. She watched curiously as he brought it over to her. Her eyes slightly widen once she realizes what it was.
"My journal?" She questions, grabbing the leather bound book from his hands. She looked up at him with a questioning glance.
"We took it before your father got rid of your things."
"Why?" She asked, opening it so she could flip through the pages.
"I don't know, honestly." Damon admits, walking over to the bed, he sits and puts his feet up.
Vivian sighs as she shakes her head. Her head shakes as she sighs. Closing her eyes, she can't help but think to the past. She could feel Damon watching her as she sits there in silence.
Maybe it was time to tell the truth. She thinks. And maybe it was. Maybe it was time she come clean and tell then why she was still here and why she wanted Klaus dead. And how she knows Katherine. Because maybe what she has to tell them could be helpful to the situation. She knew Klaus, and she knew Katherine. So maybe it was time.
"I think I'm ready to tell you..." she breaths out, just as Stefan comes into the room.
"Tell is what?" Stefan asked, looking over from Damon and Vivian.
"About my time with Klaus and Katherine. I think there are some things you should know."
