Chapter 5: An Unsolicited Reminder

"DON'T TALK ABOUT DYING!"

Bo Young kept her eyes shut in pain. "Ouch~" She said as she moved to her side to put a hand on her lower back. She placed her other hand on the ground for leverage.

When the pain subsided, she slowly opened her eyes.

"What the...?" Two voices worded at the same time. One belonged to her. The other...

"Where...?" Bo Young heard the familiar voice continue and paused. It belonged to her co-star, In Guk.

She followed where his voice came from and saw him just an arm's length away from her. He also sat on the ground looking just as confused as she probably is. Where exactly in the world are they?

Bo Young watched as In Guk scanned the place until his eyes met hers. It's quite a sight to see him sat on the ground wearing a confused expression but look handsome still. It also didn't escape her notice when his expression relaxed a bit after seeing her.

If anyone asked how In Guk felt at the moment, he would deny that he felt relieved knowing his co-star is with him. No. Not because he was graced with the fact that someone was with him when he found himself in the middle of nowhere. But because it is her who is with him.

Even if none of them has spoken about it with the other, he knows they have already achieved a certain level of comfortability with each other. He wouldn't feel as at ease as he is right now if it was Shin Do-Hyun or Dawon he finds himself with.

They were the other two people aside from Bo Young he remembers he was with before opening his eyes to an unfamiliar territory. There were four of them in a car, filming a scene. In fact, it was probably Do Hyun's and Dawon's "Don't talk about dying!" which served as the cue before they got miraculously transported to where they are now. One moment he was sitting comfortably in a car, the next, he was seated on dirt.

Gathering himself not longer than how his discussion in his head went, In Guk stood up, wiped his dirty hands on his coat and walked a step to where his company sat. He bent a little and offered her his hand. She looked at him the same way she did when they were filming that scene where time stopped and his character asked hers what she would choose. This, however, is very real and no longer an act.

With a bit of hesitation, Bo Young accepted In Guk's hand. When she did, he swiftly pulled her to her feet and put his other hand on her arm so she wouldn't stumble. "How's your back?" He asked.

"Fine, I guess." Bo Young responded. "Where are we?" She added although she was certain he had the same question in mind.

"Yaaah! You two really look nice together like that."

Looking over their shoulders, they found Shin Do Hyun making her way to where they stood. She had a mischievous look in her eyes. And she had a good reason for it too.

Both In Guk and Bo Young realized they were still holding hands and at Do Hyun's jest, they quickly let each other go. "What a bummer, you two." Do Hyun continued teasing until she reached them.

"How come you're not even surprised?" Bo Young couldn't help but ask. "And where is Dawon?"

"I think he's enjoying a nice break. It depends. He might not even remember what's happening this very second." Do Hyun responded.
