Tanjiro arrived at Final Selection. He looked around at the people also there.

'There are so many.' He thought as he walked forward but his blood went cold as he walked past a particular person him to stop in his tracks and glance at the person who looked like she could pass out at any moment.

'N-No i-it can't be a d–' His thoughts cut off as the girl looked at him. Tanjiro was afraid to move as he and the girl made eye contact. She didn't seem to have any interest in him so she just looked away.

"Everyone..." The two girl twins said in union.

"We thank you for coming here tonight. To the Demon Slayer Corps Final Selection."

"There are demons imprisoned here on Mt. Fujikasane captured alive by the Demon Slayer swordsmen and unable to leave."

"That is because wisteria which demons hate so much blooms year round from the bottom to halfway up the mountain."

"However there is no wisteria from this point on and so demons abound."

"You'll need to here for seven days to pass Final Selection."

'Don't sleep. Don't sleep. Don't sleep. Don't sleep.' A girl repeated in her head sitting at a tree staring down at the ground while rain poured from the sky.

Unknowingly a demon wasn't to far from her. The demon thought she would be an easy target since it's been trailing her for two nights now. The demon jumped out at the girl and her attention still on the ground.

'As I thought.' That's when the demon's head was severed from it's body.

'Who the hell!' The demons head rolled then slowly came to a holt.

'It couldn't be the girl?!'

"I can't get any peace in this forest." The girl said quietly.

"We're pleased to see that you're safe."

"So? What am I supposed to do now? Where's my katana?"

"However the katanas will take ten to fifteen days to complete."

"But first." They clapped. Crows flew down over to each of us. My crow landed on my head.

"We will now assign each of you your own Kasugai Crow."

"These Kasugai Crows can be used primarily for communication."

"Did you say crow? Isn't this a sparrow though?"

'He's so ill-mannered.' The boy with the scar walked up to the two girls.

"Who the hell cares about some stupid crow?!" He grabbed the girl with the white hair by the hair.

"I want my katana you hear? Gimme on right now!"

'Master says it rude to treat a kid like that.'

"The Demon Slayers' katana! The Color Changing Sword!" The boy in blue walked to the two and grabbed the scar boy arm.

"Take your hand off her! Or else I'll break your arm!"

"Let's see you try it!" The boy wearing blue started to squeeze the scar boy causing him to let go of the girl and back away from him.

"Are you finished chatting?"

"Now then please select an ore. The steel for the sword that will annihilate demons and protect you will be of your own choosing." We walked up to the table.

'It doesn't matter right?' I walked up to the table and picked one.
