ShadAmy: The Animal-Talker

Chapter 23

(Normal Pov)

Mia and Sally ran up, Sally was slightly wounded but seemed to keep her balance. They slowly stop running and walk up to the two hedgehogs, who have moved away from each other as they heard their name being called.

"I'm so glad you two are okay! Where is the rest?" Sally asked, as she started to look around for any sight of the other friends that have came to defeat the Evil Queen.

"Still locked up" Amy said quietly as she looked down at her feet, Sally's face was in shock. She couldn't believe Amy would leave them behind, especially her brother. So she turned her eyes to Shadow, knowing that because of him the rest are still locked up.

"What are you looking at me for?" asks Shadow, his voice a little harsh. He gives the squirrel a small glare, making her take a step back and shake her head. As if she didn't want to say anything. "That's what I thought" he added in with an attitude.

"We will think of a plan and we will go back for them" said Amy, trying to show it's all under control. Even though she wasn't so sure herself. Sally, Mia and Shadow nodded along.

The group went back into the village, they will need supplies and more people as well. There is no way they can pull it off alone. Amy and Shadow were sitting in the same room alone, Amy was currently looking out the window. Watching the beautiful dark sky, with the stars shining high above. Full moon giving out the biggest light out of all of the stars.

Shadow slowly walks up to Amy, sitting beside her. He looks over at her, her face full of worry. Shadow notices it instantly and speaks up, "You alright?"

"Yes"

"I'm not convinced" he said, turning Amy to face him. Their faces inches away, just like before.

Amy wants to turn her head back to the moon, but something makes her head stay still. It's like her body refuses to move, her eyes on his lips. She wanted to kiss him, her voice gone, unable to say anything she sits there. Looking at him. Her body finally moves but not away from the dark hedgehog but towards him, him and his lips. Amy couldn't help it, she closed her eyes and went along with it. Shadow noticing what is happening, has no idea what to do. Does he want to kiss her, he sure does care for her but does he love her? He looks at her leaning in closer, her eyes closed, the moonlight making her beauty outstand to him. Closing his eyes and also leaning in, their lips less than an inch apart.

"Shadow!Amy!"

The two hedgehogs instantly move away from one another and stand up, they follow the voice outside where they see a bear. The mother bear Amy went back to save, behind her hundreds of other animals. Amy slowly approaches, as the Animal-Talker she speaks to the animals.

"What are you doing here?" she asks, looking around every single animal that has gathered around the house.

"We are here to help, we will be your army" The mother bear responds, as he and all of the other animal bow their heads down to Amy, showing respect.

"What did she say?" asks Sally, the voice that broke the kiss that was about to happen between the two hedgehogs.

"That they will be our army" Amy says without turning around, looking at the animals who are willing to help them out. She smiles to herself, she had a feeling deep inside that being kind and helpful will come back to her and help her out when she needs it the most. Now this was the time.
