ShadAmy: The Animal-Talker

Chapter 24

(Amy's POV)

This must be one of the most weirdest thing that has ever happened to me, discussing a plan of attack with my friends and animals. Of course I was translating what the animals said, I could see that for the first hour or two it was really weird for my friends but they got used to it after a while. To be honset this was really weird for me too, I still didn't fully know how to summon my piko-piko hammer.

We decided to take a break after a couple of hours, this whole plan sure did take a while. We had to find a way to sneak in, take out some guards, free everyone else and finally attack and defeat the Queen. Sounded very simple but there was a lot of issues, after mine and Shadow's escape there was guards at every possible entrance we could take into the castle.

The good thing is, they wouldn't expect a small mouse peaking around looking for an entrance. The next day we found out that there was a place which we could use to sneak in. Then we would take out the guards at the front gate to let all of the animals in. The plane was going great, but of course something had to go wrong.

I was the first to slip inside the castle. I had to squeeze my body through the rocks and as soon as I did, the rocks fell down blocking the entrance for my friends. I had to carry out the plan all by myself without any help or back-up. Piece of cake, right? I hear my friends shouting something on the otherside but I can't make out what they are saying.

I turned to face the dark hallway, I was now located in. I had to walk and do this, I couldn't let them down like that. As I walked the dark hallway I saw a small light, of course it was stupid but I followed it. I was lost in complete darkness and that light could help me out of here. When I came close enough to the light, I noticed it was a guard on patrol. He was holding a torch looking around if anyone was out of their cell of snuck in to save the ones in the cell.

I took a deep breath and tried to summon my hammer but no use, I couldn't do it. "Oh Come On!" I shouted by accident, the guard turned to face me and pulled out his sword. I was done for, I couldn't summon my hammer and there was nothing laying around for me to use. As I was standing there, waiting for the guard to hit me, I shut my eyes. Nothing was going on, I slowly opened them to see the guard down at my feet.

"You have to attack and not stand there like a statue" it was Shadow's voice, but how did he get here and save me? I look at the dark hedgehog who was now dressing up pretending to be the guard he just knocked out.

"How did you get in here?" I asked him, very confused of by what happened.

"That's my little secret" he picked up the torch and walked. I followed, didn't ask him anything else after that. We walked on in silence.

We were walking for less than ten minutes when he stopped, he turned around to me. His ruby eyes were staring into mine. My body felt like it just frooze by his look. He took a couple steps closer to me. placing the torch on the small hooked stand for it that was on the wall. Once again I found myself inches away from him.

"We were interrupted too many times" I heard him mutter under his breath, my heart felt heavy. I'm sure he heard it's heartbeat, that only seemed to speed up. Our faces coming closer and closer, lips once again inches apart. I closed my eyes, ready for this kiss to finally happen.

Under the light of the torch, in the dark hallway of the castle with our friends waiting for us. We have shared our first kiss, which was very delicate and gentle. He wrapped his arms around my waist, the heavy and cold armour made my body shiver. Ad if to respond to his arms around me, I wrap my arms around his neck. Our lips not moving away from each other.

There you go guys, sorry for the delay. My computer broke and I don't update on my phone, for our luck my parents let me use thier laptop to update. Shadamy finally kissed, hope you are all happy now.
