(Amy's Pov)

She gracefully walked down, I could hear the clicking off her heals as she approached me. A sly smirk was on her lips, I knew this wouldn't be an easy battle from the start but seeing how confident she is...

No.

I had to stay positive, a lot of people are counting on me. I won't let them down, the hammer still in my hand. I was ready. I gripped the hammer tightly and prepared myself, she drew out her sword which I didn't stand a chance against. Actually I did, I bet Shadow using my hammer and he had a sword.

"Just going to stand there?!" she called out, the sword pointed towards me. A smirk formed on my face as I charged.

"Take that!" I swing my hammer to her right side, she blocks it without any effort. I jump back before she can slice me in half, this will be harder than I thought. I don't stand a chance, I should've trained more.

"So weak, and you call yourself a Rose?" Her sword swung at me, barely missing my arm. The smirk never leaving her lips. Her confidence seemed to grow. "Your people are falling, and so are the animals. Just listen", she lowers her sword.

My hammer hit the floor, she was right. I can hear their screams of pain and suffering. This is all caused because I dragged them here, because I wanted to fight her. I fall to my knees, unable to accept what is going on around me. Everyone can be dead. Blaze and Rouge, my first female friends with who I could talk about girly stuff. Knuckles and Tails, my friends since I used to be a small kid. My brother, who always protected me. Shadow, the one I so deeply fell for.

Laughter filled the entire room, she was laughing at my misery, at my pain, at the people dying. Her sister was in that battle, she didn't care about that either. She probably didn't care about her own people dying in courtyard.

I failed, and as I heard her lift her sword up into the air and I saw her feet inches away. I was prepared, I failed and had nothing to come home to. My tears fell in the cold stone floor, as I waited for my fate to come. I shut my eyes tightly, prepared for the pain.

The pain never came but I heard two swords clash with one another, I looked up to see Shadow barely standing on his own two feet. He came to protect me, he pushed Fiona to the floor and looked at me.

"C-Come on. G-Get up!" He held my hammer, holding it out to me. I stood up and took it, wiping the tears in my eyes away.

I saw Fiona slowly stand up, before I could warn Shadow. He got hit, his arm was covered in his blood as it slowly rolled down to the floor. A puddle of blood forming under his feet, and I think something inside me just broke as I saw him like that.

Without hesitation, I swung my hammer at Fiona. One swung after another, not stopping for a second. She didn't have time to attack because she had to focus on blocking. I landed a couple of good hits before I hit in the stomach and sent her out the window.

I walked to the ledge of the window to see if she fell, that was a bad move. She grabbed my leg and pulled me down with her, she was still holding onto the ledge and I grabbed her leg before I could fall to my death.

"Let me go!" she screamed as I held onto her leg tighter so I wouldn't fall. After a brief through seconds of her trying to kick me with her other leg, she started to laugh. "Fine! We both die!" Her hands slipped from the ledge, and my grip on her leg disappeared. I stopped holding onto her as I fell my body fall faster and faster towards the ground.

I closed my eyes, a smile formed on my face. I bet her after all, if she dies then I can die too. I did what I came here for, I accomplished the mission.

Sorry for no updates, I will try to update more but school is getting very stressful.
