ShadAmy: The Animal-Talker

Chapter 13

(Normal Pov)

In the morning Amy was the first to wake up, when she woke up in Sonics bed she was surprised. Then the memories of last night and she smiled.

She got out of the bed, and headed to the bathroom with her towel and clothes. She quickly hopped under a nice warm shower, and washed her body. After she was done, she wrapped her body in her towel. She dried herself off, and got changed.

When she walked out, she saw Sonic sleeping peacefully on the couch. She tipped toed to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast. She decided to make some pancakes, she loved pancakes.

After a while, Sonic and Sally woke up. When they came up to the kitchen, to help Amy with making breakfast, she was already done.

"Hey, can you two get your plate?" asked Amy, as she give them both a warm smile. She picked up her plate, Sonic and Sally doing the same.

(Amy's Pov)

While eating breakfast, Sally seemed rather upset. I wanted to ask her what is wrong, but I am not sure it's the right time. Maybe I should wait till Sonic is gone, maybe then I can ask.

"This is great Amy.... I want to thank you both. If not you I would be dead." Sally said, tears in her eyes but she didn't let them fall. She held them, trying to be strong.

"We are glad we could help" I say to her, showing her a smile. She tries to return one, when a tear fell down her cheek.

"Yeah Sal, cheer up. We couldn't leave you" said Sonic, showing his famous smile and thumbs up.

"Sal?" me and Sally asked, both of us tilting our heads in confusion.

"I always give people nicknames, if it's possible with the name they have. I just don't always use it" he states, before continuing. "is that nickname okay Sally?" he asked her by her full name this time.

Sally nods her head, "Yeah, it's fine" she says, a smile on her face. Sonic always knows how to cheer up, no matter the situation.

When Sonic walked out, to go back serving the king. Amy and Sally did the dishes, also cleaning the kitchen in progress. When the two were done, they sat down on the couch.

(Shadows Pov)

I was walking around the training field, something was going on. I just wasn't sure what it was, and I didn't like the feeling. My thoughts were interrupted when Sonic came in.

"Hey guys!" he said, his hand giving is a wave. I heard others say hi back, mostly Silver. He is loud.

Sonic comes up to me, he puts his arm around my shoulders. If he won't back off in 3 seconds I will punch him.

"Get off" I say, my voice clear and demanding. Not in the mood for this.

"Come on Shadz, don't be like that!" he complains, as then start to lean on my shoulder using his arm. "I was wondering if you have a crush on Princess Ariana" WHAT! He can't be serious about that!

"No I dont, never will" if he thinks I have a crush on my sister, I might as well say that he crushes on Amy.

Everyone starts to look at me, I notice Blaze is doing a 'aww' face. These people are a bunch of idiots. I get Sonic off me and when I was about to say something to them. Ariana comes in, worst timing ever.

"Uhm, sorry to interrupt. Shadow? The King wants to see you" she says, she is getting nervous because they are staring.

I shoot them a death glare, before walking to meet the King. I notice Sonic going up to Ariana, even if she is the princess they might be asking her about it.

(Ariana's Pov)

I see Sonic walking up to me, I wanted to run after Shadow. I am not the most social person to be around.

"Hello Princess" he says, just remember if one of them flirts. Kick them in the jewels, and run. Or walk away with grace and head high, to show you don't like that kind of behaviour.

"I was ehh, wondering. You and Shadow seem close, I was thinking maybe you two are.... dating? if not, sorry!" he quickly says the last part, my eyes wide.

I can stop myself I start laughing, they all give me a weird look. When I manage to stop, I decide to explain my behaviour.

"Sorry, it's just. I would never date him, we are just good friends from childhood. I see where you get the idea, but no." It would be awkward if I was dating my own brother, I hope he said that we are not dating. Or this would be weird.

(Shadows Pov)

I walk into the throne room, when I see my father. I know he is not happy, I was about to walk out.

"Stay right there!"
