LOONA as Romantic Tropes! (Part 2)

—Heejin as "Girl Next Door"
You've just moved to a new city because of your fathers job. As you're taking out the luggages and suitcases out of your car, you see a girl staring at you from the house next to yours. She gives you a smile before walking into it. You feel a strange feeling in your stomach and you realize that's what it feels like when you liked someone. You chuckle a the idea and just shake the girl away from your head, returning back to helping your parents. You eventually finish and you're now in your new room. The window was open as you stood up to look around more. You turn to the window and look out, just to see the girl from earlier, sitting in the room across from yours. Her window was also open, the curtains being the only thing blocking the clear view of her. You decide to stare at her while she sits and focuses on her canvas. You don't know how long it's been since you've started admiring her until you hear her yell something along the lines of 'Staring is a bit rude, don't you think?'. Her eyes never left her painting so you become flustered and yell back a quick apology before closing your window, embarrassed. You hold a hand against your chest and feel your heart pounding. You turn back to the window and slightly pull open your curtains just to see the girl looking at you, a soft smile appearing when she noticed you peeking again.

—Hyunjin as "Friends to Lovers"
You invite your best friend over for a sleepover because you've been dying to tell her something. She agrees after a long time of convincing and you hug her tightly when she arrives. You drag her to your room and put on some music to drown out the building anxiousness. Hyunjin calmly walks in and notices your nervousness. She approaches you from behind, gently grabbing your shoulder. You jump at the sudden contact but she just softly chuckles and shakes her head. She leads you to your bed and makes you sit down, asking you to tell her what's wrong. You just sigh and nod. You take a deep breath and suddenly you're a rapper, quickly mumbling how you've been in love with her for so long and you don't know how to tell her because you're worried about ruining the friendship. You sigh and take a peek at Hyunjin who's just staring at you with those doe eyes of hers. You sigh in defeat realizing your mistake but before you can even apologize, Hyunjin tells you that she likes you too and doesn't say anything after. You turned to her with wide eyes and she's just laying there, unbothered on the bed. She glances at you, confused and blinks, asking you what's wrong now. You shake your head and opened your mouth to talk again but was cut off as Hyunjin sat up and gave you a peck on your cheek, saying how she can now kiss you more often without worrying.

—Chaewon (Gowon) as "Stuck Together"
Chaewon groans when she feels your arm brush against hers and you turn to her. A small hint of annoyance is shown on her pretty face and you just laugh. She turns to you and scoffs, asking you what's so funny, knowing the situation you guys happened to be stuck in. You just chuckled and tell her it's nothing but then an officer walks in, interrupting your little moment. He tells you that your parents are here so you guys both stand. As he unlocks the cell and both walk out, you grab hold of Chaewon's hand. 'This is all your fault, by the way.' She mumbles in that voice but you nod and continue walking with her. Once out of the station, you guys see Haseul and Jungeun who weren't your parents but it worked either way. Haseul comes your way and begins dragging you by your arm so you let go of Chaewon's hand and let the older woman do so. 'Bye Chae! Don't be mad, you're stuck with me forever!' You yell as Haseul continues to drag you. You see Chaewon shake her head and laugh a bit before walking away with Jungeun.

—Yerim (Choerry) as "Soulmates"
A date. It's what Yerim wanted so of course you had to set one up with her. You run fingers through your hair while you stand in front of her home's door before knocking on it. Not even a minute later, you hear the door open and Yerim's there with the brightest smile you've ever seen. She grabs your hand and pulls you inside before you have time to greet her. Of course though, there's also that strange warmth you always get when Yerim is around that comes again. Whether she touched you physically or was just around, some sort of warmth always filled you in a comforting way. Walking into the living room, she has blankets and pillows set up in a fort with her Ipad open on Netflix. There are snacks and drinks also inside as Yerim drags you toward the fort. 'I didnt know if you wanted chips or candy so I brought both.' She rambles and you can't help but smile at her. She notices your silence and apologizes for being too talkative but you brush her off and tell her it's okay and that you don't mind.

—Hyeju (Olivia Hye) as "Enemies to Lovers"
You glare at your opponents and pass the ball to your teammate. They take the ball up field and you run the opposite side, open and waiting for them to send the ball to you. As they do, you let the ball settle on the ground before you pull your leg back to kick it. But before you can do so, you feel someone push against you and then you're on the ground. The ball is stolen and already down your half of the field. You sigh and get up, brushing off your uniform. When you look up, you see a girl from the opposite team smirking at you. You ignore her and just brush your shoulder past her, going back to your original position since they've scored a goal. The game continues and your team ends up losing. As your team cleans up and makes their way to the locker room, you feel someone staring at you. You turn around and see the same girl looking at you. God, she had a staring problem. You thought and turned away. Unknowing to you, she smiled and stared at the paper in her hand, your number written in it.

—Yeojin as "Childhood Friends"
You walk into the comfortable home, feeling relaxed as you're familiar with the atmosphere. Your best friend, Yeojin, runs up to you and jumps into your arms. You smile and hug her, carrying her to the couch where snacks are set and a movie is beginning to play. Her sister, Sooyoung, comes down the stairs and you greet her before she disappears again. You and Yeojin spend the day watching movies and eating snacks. Eventually, it's time for you to leave. As you place your phone dow after checking the time, you move to stand up but stop abruptly, feeling a weight on your shoulder. You carefully turn your head and see Yeojin resting on it. This is totally fine. It's not like your heart is racing at an inhuman pace. You decide to leave later, avoiding the chances of waking the girl and relax in the position. You cross your arms over your chest and soon, you fall asleep as well.
