The streets of Ord Mantell had been rather crowded that day. Not that there was many people but in comparison to how usually empty they were, it was certainly crowded. Especially in the area where Cid's Bar was. Usually it was quiet and empty but it seemed a few new vendors popped up around the area the Batch walked right now. It was fresh after a successful retrieval of Omega after another bounty hunter reared its head to save her. Omega sat happily on Wrecker's shoulder just behind Mara, snacking on the carton of Mantel Mix she was able to persuade Hunter into buying.

Wrecker would occasional take some when offered by Omega, even offering a small handful to Mara, who was currently snacking on the colorful snack in one hand, the other holding Tech's helmet against her waist. She looked to her right at Tech, holding out her hand with the coloring snack. Tech looked at it for a moment, still not really used to food outside of the Republic rations the Batch had for years.

"It's good, promise," Mara said, holding her hand out.

Tech didn't reply but did take a few pieces of the mix from her hand, eating it. "It's rather sweet," He made a bit of a face at it. He seemed to like it though, just certainly surprised by such a strong flavor in such a small snack.

"That's why Wrecker and Omega like it," Mara shrugged.

"And you?" Tech asked, adjusting his goggles a bit as he looked down at her.

"I just take some to make Wrecker and Omega happy," she shrugged. "It's a little too sweet for me." Tech almost smiled at that. Before the Jedi Purge, if he was told Mara took a snack just to make Wrecker and Omega happy, he wouldn't entirely believe it without seeing it. Mara was still her old apathetic self but she seemed to have become a little nicer in the recent times. He wasn't sure what prompted it. Perhaps it was the trauma she experienced or simply she felt she could be more herself. If you asked any other member of the Batch, they'd say it was Tech's effect on Mara.

"How's the Mantell Mix, kid?" Wrecker looked up at Omega.

"Better than ever," Omega grinned, handing a piece to Wrecker, making him laugh loudly. "So, when's our next mission?" Omega asked with a mouthful.

"With two bounty hunters after you, it'd be wise to keep a low profile," Tech turned to look at Omega. The bounty hunter from Pantora, Fennec, and now Cad Bane of all people. Mara never ran into him during the war but she heard the stories and the rumors. He was known by most of the Jedi as he crossed paths with them too many times during the Clone Wars.

"Tech's right," Hunter agreed, stopping to turn behind him. Wrecker took the moment to let Omega off his shoulder, the girl almost stumbling a bit on her feet due had Tech not reached out to steady her. "There's too much heat on us right now."
