Joan and Damien then went to meet their parents who were already seated on the front row.
Damien's dad was also present but he was seated on a wheelchair because he wasn't strong enough to walk or stand.
They greeted both their parents and then they hugged and congratulated them.
Then they went ahead to take some pictures, although Damien didn't really like the taking of pictures part, but he would do it for Joan.
He couldn't also wait for all this to end quickly because he was already getting tired and he just wanted to take joan with him to their mansion which he built some time ago for their wedding and get some rest because today was already quite stressful.
After they were done taking pictures they proceeded to the hall where the reception was going to take place, then they left to go change their dresses.
Joan changed into a navy blue gown while Damien also changed into a navy blue suit which looked exceptionally beautiful on the both of them, afterall they were currently the latest couple and the spotlight was supposed to be on them.
Joan's friends and mom helped her change into the gown and then she went back into the hall where Damien was already waiting for her. Then they proceeded to the dance floor to do a couple's dance, while the song 'perfect' by Ed Sheeran played in the background.
While they were dancing on the dance floor, joan kept on stepping on Damien's shoes, but she wasn't quite sure if it was because she didn't really know how to dance well or because she just felt like doing it on purpose, but Damien still remained patient with her all through out.
After they were done dancing, they went ahead to cut their wedding cake which looked magnificent and very beautiful. Then they went back to take their seats and the refreshments were served to the guests.
Finally the time for them to head home had come and their parents went ahead to see them off to their new home.
"This is it my princess, always remember that i love you and also you're a married woman now so start acting like one, remember to always be a good wife, respect your husband and always listen to him, be patient with him in whatever he does." Mrs rosavet said to Joan who was already getting emotional.
"Mom i don't know how I'll live without you guys, I'll take your advice and try to be a good wife as much as I can, but please come and visit us sometime soon okay? " Joan said with teary eyes to her mom.
"Of course I will, how can i forget my baby girl and I'm sure you'll be fine living without us, you'll get used to it okay? " Mrs Rosavet said while patting her daughter's cheeks and cleaning the few drops of tears that managed to escape from her eyes, such a crybaby mrs rosavet thought as she hugged her daughter while gently patting her back to soothe her.
"Okay, that's enough now, i think it's time for you guys to leave, am sure you don't want to keep Damien waiting any longer and neither do I intend to do so.
"Okay mom, I'll call you when we get home" joan said while bidding her dad goodbye who also gave her a similar advice to that of her mother's.
