He wanted to question her about it but then decided against it, he didn't see any need for that.
"Oh, you're done already? Let's get going then" Damien said to Joan who just nodded and followed him out of the restaurant, but not before paying the bills first.

After Joan and Damien came out of the restaurant, they headed towards Damien's car and drove straight home.
On reaching their home, Joan removed her heals and headed upstairs to their room while Damien stayed back talking to someone over the phone.
Joan entered into the room and closed the door behind her.
She then walked towards the bed and sat on it while stretching out her hands and legs.
She felt so tired coupled with the fact that her heels were practically killing her, that was why she had earlier on removed it.
She then went into the bathroom to take her bath and changed into her pyjamas.
After she was done with that, she sat down on one of the couch in the room and scrolled through her phone checking her Instagram.
As she was still scrolling through her phone, she started feeling drowsy and from there she slept off on the couch with her phone still in her hands......

Damien walked into the room and saw Joan laying down on the couch sleeping.
He had just ended his phone call with one of the major investor's in their company. That was why he wasn't able to come up immediately.
'She must've been very tired' he thought as he walked over to the couch on which she laid asleep and scooped her up in bridal style, but not before keeping her phone, which was still in her hands, aside.
He moved over to the bed and laid her down on it, and tucked her in afterwards.
After he was sure that she was comfortable enough, he kissed her on the forehead and then went to take a shower.
While he was in the bathroom, he removed his mask from his face and gazed at his reflection in the mirror. He touched the part of his face which was earlier on covered by the mask and sighed.
He knew that Joan had never seen him without the mask on before, and he intended to keep it that way for the time being.
Moreover, he didn't know what her reaction would be to seeing his face without the mask on.
'What if she leaves me and runs away' he thought as he shook his head.
Whatever her reaction would be, he just wasn't sure if he was ready for any of that yet.
He went ahead to continue with his shower and after he was done he changed into his pyjamas and wore his mask back.
He then laid down beside Joan who was already deeply in sleep and wrapped his arms around her.
He finally closed his eyes and drifted off to a peaceful sleep.
