The Date (2) - Getting to know each other

"Well I'm glad to hear that you like it. It's also one of the best restaurants in town" Damien said while looking at Joan who just nodded her head quietly.
"Ok, I want us to, you know get to know each other the more. So I'll ask you some questions and you can also do the same."
"So uhm... what's your favorite color?" Damien asked still gazing at Joan.
Joan looked up from checking out her finger nails- an act that she had earlier on used to distract herself from the intensity of Damien's gaze and then answered his question.
"P-purple I love the colour purple" Joan replied with a tight lipped smile.
"Okayy so what's so special about the colour purple that you love it." Damien asked.
"Nothing really, I-I just love it".
"Ok so you go next, ask me any question of your choice." Damien said looking at Joan.
"Uhm...what about you, what's your favorite colour?"
"Well as for me, I think mine is dark blue" Damien replied while Joan just nodded her head slightly.
Just then Joan's stomach grumbled and she immediately looked at Damien who seemed to have not heard it, she thanked the heavens that he didn't hear it, if not she would have felt very embarrassed.
She wondered what was taking the waiter so long to return with their meals as she was already very hungry. Just as she was about to ask Damien about it, the waiter showed up at their table with both their different meals.
They thanked the waiter and then proceeded to eat.
Meanwhile Damien noticed that Joan had started to get comfortable during their conversation as she wasn't stammering anymore and seemed more relaxed physically than when they had earlier arrived, so he took that as a good sign and decided to go over to the main question.
"So tell me more about yourself. I mean even though I already know quite a few things, but still I want to hear it all from you" Damien said looking at Joan who was having quite a hard time trying to properly chew and swallow her food under Damien's heated gaze.
She eventually managed to swallow the food and then replied him.
"Ok well.... Since you want to know literally everything about me. So for the starter my name's Joan Naomi Knight, I'm 22 years old, which I'm sure you already know" Joan stopped to looked at Damien who just nodded for her to go on.
"Uhm... I like reading, singing, writing and photography. I also have two best friends who are like totally crazy and really fun to hang out with" Joan said the last part laughing at the thought of them. But then she stopped laughing when she saw the look of amusement on Damien's face. She quickly comported herself and then continued with what she was saying.
"So I studied law In the university but I haven't really practiced it yet. Anyways that doesn't matter right now cos I'm currently a model and at times I think I prefer it over to law. Well I think that's basically everything you'll need to know about me" Joan sighed after she was done talking.
