Yugi gasps and gets to his feet. He looked at himself and saw he was a cat again but the herb was by his side.
Lily looks over. “Brother? What happened? In your sleep you kept saying Soka...who's that?”
Yugi pants slightly and looks at his sister. “I need you so go back to the pack.” Yugi said. Lily blinks in confusion. “Wait what?”
Yugi smiles and pushes the herb to her. “This will save Father. I need you to take it to him.” Lily nods as she takes the herb. “I'll go right away. You and the others continue on. I can smell my way back.” She licked Yugi cheek then rushes out of the cave heading back.
Yugi nods and wakes everyone up. “Let’s go. There’s not much more to go.” Yugi said. Seth and Shaadi and Oak follow.
On the battlefield all different types of animals are charging at the enemy wolves. Birds of all kind swoop and attack.
Yugi blinks. “I know this pack. It’s…. Duke’s pack.” Yugi mumbled.
Duke watches as he sees several wolves fall wounded however his eyes are only for Yami who is fighting back wolf after wolf without signs of stopping.
Yugi looks around for Yami and sees him but frowns when he sees Duke. Duke sent more wolves to distract Yami as he goes to attacks.
Yugi runs over to them quickly and tackles Duke before he could touch him. Duke becomes defensive and throws Yugi off as he growls.
Yugi groans and gets to his feet and hisses at Duke. Duke glare at Yugi. “What are you doing here?” He snarls
“Why did you attack Yami’s home?” Yugi hissed as he walked around Duke. Duke smirks as he circles Yugi. “Because that bastard wolf killed my mate. My poor Seto.” He growls.
Yugi blinks before glaring at Duke. “Yami didn’t kill Seto Duke.” Yugi said before looking down. “I did.”
Duke's eyes widen as one wolf darts over and smirks. “Sir we have the bastard wolf down, we used those special flowers.”
Yugi’s eyes widened. “Duke let him go. I killed Seto.” Yugi sneered. “I killed him in cold blood.” Yugi lied but before he could attack the wolf whispered.
“The bastard is this one's mate. We found out yesterday from our spies. Maybe we should do this the old fashioned way. An eye for an eye. A mate for mate.” Duke blinks then growls.
Yugi glares. “Is that what you want, Duke? Or to kill the one who killed your mate?” Yugi said as he watched in the corner his eyes Seth and Shaddi helped Yami. “Why kill you and be merciful? Killing the one you love would hurt you so much more.”
Yugi sits down. “Because I’m not going to move. Why fight someone who will fight back?” Yugi said as he laid down. “I’m all yours Duke.” Yugi said as Seth and Shaddi got Yami away from the flowers.
“You’re a fool Duke.” Yugi said. Yami, still weak from the flowers, looked at Yugi in panic but Seth and Shaadi held him back. “Just have faith in him you can do that right Yami?” Seth asks and Yami nods as he calls to Yugi. “Do what you do best my love!”
Yugi smiles before closing his eyes. Duke snarls as he goes to attack Yugi. Yugi opens his eyes and looks at Duke before pouncing as well only his body lit up.
‘Remember my son the love for your mate will make you stronger.’ Soka's voice said as before everyone amazed eyes Yugi transforms.
Yugi lands on Duke and roars at him. Duke whines and looks in shock at the panther above him. “How? That’s impossible!”
