Well anyways, recently while scrolling on the void known as the internet, I came across the story of the 52-hertz whale, aka 52 Blue, aka the World's Loneliest Whale
It's never been seen before by humans but it's been heard over hydrophones (i think they're like underwater microphones?) and it calls at the frequency of 52 hertz, which is unusual for whales. Scientists think it might be some kind of blue whale hybrid or perhaps "malformed" in some way for it to be able to call at such a high pitch.
Apparently, other whales are not able to hear its 52 hertz frequency, therefore the nickname "World's Loneliest Whale." Though I'm not so sure about this fact since different websites say different things, but it's still interesting lol
