THE LEGENDARY TWIN ARCHERS AND LITERALLY SOME OF MY FAVORITE GODS IN GREEK MYTH
Artemis and Apollo were born to the titaness Leto and Zeus (cuz ofc it's Zeus), and while Leto was in labor Hera cursed her to never find a stable place to give birth on bc she's a jealous freak (but tbh who can blame her), but Leto eventually stumbled upon the island of Delos to give birth on. Artemis came first, then assisted with Apollo's birth which was long and painful because Hera kidnapped Eileithyia (;-;) who was the goddess of childbirth so she wasn't there to help it along.
Artemis grew up to be the goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, maidens, childbirth, virginity and the moon. Apollo became the god of the sun, archery, poetry, medicine, music, art and prophecy. So basically they were both pretty powerful and popular lol
