The prompt was to draw ship art of anything, so I decided to use this as a perfect excuse to finally draw some ship art between two of my OCs!
This is Kali and Malcolm, I'm not gonna say much of their trope since I'm planning to write a story involving both of them so shh no spoilers >:)
The weapon Malcolm's holding is a "nifo oti" which is a traditional Samoan weapon. You ever seen in luaus when they do the fire knife dance? Those are what they use, they literally light the ends on fire and twirl it around. I've had a renewed love for Polynesian culture ever since I came back from Hawaii so I'm just gonna be projecting all my nerd-ness through Malcolm, who is Tahitian-Hawaiian-Samoan lmao
