Melinoe is the daughter of Hades and Persephone (some stories say Zeus and Persephone, which is fcking weird bc Zeus is her FATHER but yk these gods, I'd rather believe Melinoe's dad is Hades) and she is the goddess of ghosts, nightmares, and offerings to the dead. Some stories say that she's the one who actually brings the offers directly to the dead ppl, which I find weirdly wholesome lmao
Melinoe is honestly such an underrated goddess, her Egyptian counterpart is Kebechet which I adopted as my online name at one point haha
