The next day came by quite quickly. The store was already opened and it was quite pack. But the people were just looking around the flowers. I took the ones in the back for people to see and I just sat on my stool and watched them. I was gripping my phone tightly and patiently waiting for my break so I can spam call America.
-Hi, excuse me. Are you working here? An old lady walked up to me and started to talk to me.
-Of course, how can I help you? I asked her with a kind voice and she gave me a warm smile.
-I'm looking for this kind of flower, is it available over here?
She showed me a picture and I gently took it as a sign of respect. I observed and since it was in black and white, I couldn't see what it was. But I could see the form. It was the beautiful hibiscus and I felt so happy. I nodded saying that I did and since it was in the back, I went to grab it.
-Who is it for? I asked her when I came back with the pot.
-Oh, it's for my niece. She's turning 20 and it's her favorite flower. My grandfather took a picture of this flower and I as well fell in love with the flower. He told me that this flower reminded him of me... But I've never seen it with my own eyes. He told me that it was red... But it's so vibrant... She commented explaining the situation and was amazed by it.
-Would you want another one for you? I asked her while wrapping the pot and putting it in the box.
-No, I don't want to ruin her birthday party.
-Would you like me to slip in the instructions on how to take care of them? They're exotic coming from Asia so I thought that it would be better.
-That would be lovely sweety. She said and I smiled warmly.
I slipped it in and on the paper there was instructions and there was the meaning as well. In this case, I think that it would be feminity. Of course, it's beautiful. Honestly, it made me think of Malaysia. She loves this flower and where she lives, there are tons of them. It was thanks to her that I could sell this flower and having instructions to help people. I grabbed the box from underneath and went to her. I asked her if she wanted my help to put it in her car but she shook her head.
-No thank you dear. You've helped enough. How much would that be?
I told her and she smiled and gave it to me. She gave me a tip as well but I wanted to refuse. She acted like she didn't hear and left. I looked down at the extra 5 dollars and my heart was overjoyed... Until I turned to my phone. I gripped on my money and I couldn't peel my eyes off it. I placed the money inside the register and grabbed my phone. I shoved it inside a drawer and continued on trying to forget about it.

The moment that it was my break, I switched the sign and locked the door. I opened the drawer that I hid my phone in and there were no notifications. America doesn't know this... But why didn't Croatia tried to contact me. I gripped my phone and I was trying not to damage anything. I didn't know how to handle my emotions well and I know that.
I went to America's contact and I was staring at the call button. But before I could answer, Canada was calling me. I jumped and my phone flew out of my hand. It dropped on the counter, luckily it was the case. The phone was vibrating and I was observing it. "He tried calling you but you didn't answer, so he dropped it." What Croatia said to me came back into my mind.
-It's now or never.
I grabbed my phone and pressed answer. I placed my phone near my ear and was the first one to answer.
-Hello?
-Ah Ukraine! It's a good thing that you answered. Are you free now?
-Umm, why?
-Come to Rachel's Restaurant and then you'll know.
-But- Why?
-I need your help on something. Just come, I won't bite.
Not bite, ruin might be a better vocabulary.
-I'm not coming until you explain the situation. If it's useless, I'm not coming. I said but I was testing him, and I knew it.
-... I wanna catch Netherlands on the act. She's having lunch with Luxembourg. I wanna use it as blackmail since he doesn't know that. He thinks that she's single.
-B-Blackmail? Can't you just let her go?
-You're just like America... It's not fun.
There was a silence. I was shocked at what he did. Is this who Canada really is? I asked myself and was looking down.
-Are you still there? He asked me and I cleared my throat.
-Yeah. Can't you find someone else to do it? I don't want to be in the middle of this. Because I don't find this fun.
-Everyone is busy. And I'll make sure that you won't get involved.
-How? In critical details, please.
-...
-Canada?
-... If it goes too far, I'll break it off with Netherlands. And if she comes to attack you, call me. I'll take care of it.
-How? I asked and there was no answer. Hello? Canada!?
He hanged up. I lowered my phone down and observed it. I slammed my phone on the counter since I was getting frustrated with all of this. I took off my apron and tied my hair in a high ponytail. I won't be leaving until I heard both sides of the story.
I grabbed my bag and put my phone in it. I quickly texted America telling her what I was going to do and locked the door before leaving.
