Napakainit. Maybe it's because mommy told me to wear this thick coat that I was so oppose on wearing. Uulan kase daw.

Anyway, I was relieved when we finally got inside the mall where it's cool and refreshing.

I leaned my arms on the bar as I pushed.

I'm not really fond of Christmas. Desserts after dinner are the only thing I look forward to. Aside from that, I don't really like anything else.

I look forward more during New Year's Eve. Malakas kaseng mag p party ang tropa.

But fuck. Right. How the hell am I gonna celebrate New Year now.

"Do you prefer 'tong maanghang or the classic?"

The cover says chili flavor and the other says classic.

"Kahit ano. Kung anong gusto mo," I don't really mind any flavor.

"Choose,"

"Spicy," I answered.

We're currently buying stuff for our little Christmas party tonight.

We immediately got back before new year. And I don't know about Melanie. I don't really know if her grandparents from any side are alive. She's never talked about it. And neither does Tita.

Usually, mommy just offers the Montemayors some of her delicacies. We don't really know where they celebrate when we're away. Or if they actually do.

"Oh okay," I awkwardly replied, "sorry,"

"No need.

"Still, they're your grandparents,"

I told her I could carry both of them, but she insisted on helping.

Biglang huminto si Montemayor at sumunod ako. Binigay niya sakin ang hawak at sinabing may bibilhin muna.

"Turn your back.

I snorted but she looked serious. It was really cute. I can see an abundance of shoppers on the first floor shopping.
