Chapter 1

Amelia's POV:

May 27 2019

Today is the day. It is my final day walking the halls of Rivers High School. I was graduating today. I was not ready for this at all.

I hadn't gotten into a college. I applied to 3 schools and didn't get into one. I should have applied to more but I just couldn't go to a school I didn't want to.

I got dressed into my army green cap and gown. Steve,Luke,Kenzie and I all squeezed into Josh's car. I was in the front seat while Luke and Steve sat next to each other and Kenzie sat on the other side of them. Josh drove the 4 of us to the school.

"Who's excited" Josh smiled

"NO JOSH NOT NOW" The four of us yelled at him

"Tough crowd" he sighed

"Sorry babe we just don't want to leave each other" I said rubbing his arm.

"Where are you three going" Josh asked.

"Lucius and I are going off to New York to figure out where the fuck we want to go to school" Steve said kissing his boyfriend on the cheek

"Stop it" Luke blushed

"Kenz?" Josh asked

"I'm going to University of Washington" she gushed.

"Nice" Josh said as he pulled up to the school.

The four of us got out of the car and went into the auditorium. We stood in the corner waiting to be told to go out to our seats. I was pulled away from Steve and Kenzie when we lined up in alphabetical order. Thankfully Luke's last name was Johnston so I could sit next to him.

We all sat outside in the heat wearing long sleeves dresses. Not to mention the fact I was wearing a band shirt and skinny jeans underneath.

Mr.Castor our History teacher turned principle came up to the podium.

"I've had the honor of being the principle or teacher of these kids for the last four years. I can honestly say that these kids have a lot going for them. I can tell that everyone here besides Steven Capatelli will do something amazing for the world" he said with a laugh.

Mr.Castor and Steve had one of those teacher student friendships where they made fun of each other all the time.

"You suck Castor" Steve yelled from his seat with a laugh.

"Shut up Capatelli" he said causing the whole Senior class to laugh.

"Anyways let's all give a round of applause for the Senior class of 2019" he said clapping.

The valedictorian came up and said some lame ass speech on heir we are going to become something someday even though she had never met half of us.

Mr.Castor who looked extremely bored came up and started calling out names.

"Steven Capatelli" he called.

Steve jumped out of his seat and grabbed the silly string out of his pant pocket. As he got on the stage he sprayed Mr.Castor with it.

Steve was pushed off the stage by Castor after he grabbed his diploma.

He called out some more names until he called Luke.

"Lucius Malfoy" Castor called

"Wow thanks John" Luke laughed as he got on the stage. He gave Castor a kiss on the cheek and took the diploma.

My friends are idiots I swear.

"Amelia Jones-Dun" Castor smiled

"Aw thanks Cass" I said rubbing his bald head.
