Chapter 10

Amelia's POV

Josh and I were meeting Morgan and Mark for dinner. Josh kept calling him Mark Hoppus.

"Stop calling him that" I said swatting at him

"It's funny and you know it" he said grabbing my waist

"Babe I'm gonna burn you with this curling iron if you don't back away now" I said holding the tool like a sword.

"I just needed to grab this" he laughed grabbing his toothbrush.

I finished my hair and put on my grey sweater dress. It was the only dress I had with long sleeves and it was really cold outside. Doing my normal makeup routine I put on my signature red lipstick and mascara. I played with the locket Ronnie had gotten me while I waited for Josh to get out of the bathroom.

"Someone looks cute" he said kissing my nose

"As do you" I smiled looking over him.

He was wearing a light blue button up with grey skinny jeans.

"Are you ready" he asked putting his hand out

"Let me just put my scarf and shoes on" I smiled

I put on my red scarf and my red Keds. I looked very red today.

"Let's go" he said intertwining his fingers with mine.

We got into his car and drove to the Italian restaurant Morgan sent me.

"Table for two" the hostess asked

"We're waiting for another couple" Josh smiled

"Amelia over here" I heard a voice say

I turned around and saw Morgan and an older guy behind her.

"Hey Morgan" I said walking over to them. Josh wrapped an arm around my waist as we walked.

"This is Josh" I said introducing him

"Nice to finally meet you Josh this is my husband Mark" she smiled

"Hi" I said shyly

"Jackson table for 4" the hostess called

"That's us" Mark said in a deep voice

The four of us walked to the table and sat down. Josh was next to me and Morgan was across from me.

"So how do you like Baltimore" Mark asked

"We just got in last night so we didn't really get to see anything but we will tomorrow" Josh said putting a hand on my thigh.

"You have to go downtown" Morgan smiled

"Will do" Josh said looking down at the menu

"Why do you want to move here" Mark asked

"I've always wanted to move here so we thought why not now" I smiled.

"So Josh what do you do" Mark asked

"I'm a drummer" Josh said

"My nephew plays drums too" He smiled

"What do you do" Josh asked

"I have a company here in Baltimore but I'm thinking about moving it to Tampa when we move"

The tension across this table was very thick. Morgan and I were in our own conversation while the guys looked like they were shooting daggers at each other.

We ordered our food and began eating. We were talking about the apartment when I got a phone call.

"Excuse me" I said standing up
