Chapter 2

Josh drove us to a graduation party not far from the school. Steve and Luke were friends with Jonathan and his boyfriend Zach who were having the party.

"Johnny Boy" I yelled jumping into his arms

"Ahme my sweet little spice" he said putting me down.

Jonathan and Zach were seniors last year and always have a big party at the end of each school year.

Josh protectively grabbed my waist. Even though Jonathan was gay he still didn't feel right with me and him being so close. It got annoying but I knew his heart was in the right place.

"Babe want a drink" Josh yelled over the loud music

"Ya a coke" I said kissing his cheek

He walked off pushing threw a crowd of people. He came back with a coke and water. Snaking his arms around my waist again he rested his chin on my shoulder as I danced.

"It's our song" he whispered in my ear.

"Ya it is" I said turning around and pulling him closer.

I'd Rather Drown by Set It Off was blaring in the house. We decided to make that our song because we would rather drown than be away from each other like how it was when he was in the coma. Though the song wasn't about being away from someone it was just the tittle that we loved.

The song finished and we went and sat on the couch. I sat on his lap while he kept a sturdy hand on my waist. Steve and Luke soon came over they were both seriously drunk. Kenzie was no where in sight.

"Soooo when are you two gonna have sex" Luke slurred

"Lucifer you can't just ask someone about it you little slut" Steve said squeezing his boyfriends cheeks.

"You guys are so drunk" I laughed

"I don't get drunk baby girl" Luke said putting his finger to my lip to shush me.

Josh pulled me close to his chest. I rested my head on his shoulder feeling a bit tired.

"I'm gonna go grab a drink" I said standing up and kissing Josh before I walked away.

"Amelia" I heard someone yell

"Zach" I said turning around

Zach was leaning against the counter with a cup of something in his hand. Knowing him it was vodka with a mix of Fireball.

"Having a good time" he asked getting off the counter

"Ya I'm getting tired though" I said

"Long day. I heard about the prank" he laughed

"Ya it was pretty great. I'm gonna go get a drink before Josh comes to find me" I said grabbing a beer can from the counter.

"He's a bit over protective of you huh" Zach said with a chuckle

"Nah he's just watching out for me" I smiled and walked away.

I went back and sat on Josh's lap. I got a text from Kenzie right when I sat down.

Kenz- Going home with Daz don't worry :)

Me- Use a condom ;)

Kenz- Wouldn't leave home with out one

"Kenzie went home with Daz" I said to Josh

He seemed awkward and out of place. He was looking straight at the wall.

"Oh ok cool" he said and took out his phone.

"Are you okay" I asked

"Ya I'm fine" he shrugged

"Josh..." I said grabbing his cheeks to look at me

"I just want to go home that's all" He said and attempted to smile

"Let's go then" I smiled standing up and grabbing his hand

"Are you sure" he asked

"Babe It's fine" I smiled

"Luke Steve you want a ride home or not" Josh yelled

"Ok" Steve yelled with a stumbling Luke behind him.

Steve picked Luke up and put him over his shoulder as if he was a child. Steve seemed to sober up quick and placed the drunk boy into the back seat. The next thing I knew they were making out in the backseat. Luke looked like he was about to unbutton Steve's shirt before I threw an empty water bottle at them.

"No sex in the car" I yelled

"Killjoy" Steve laughed putting a hand over his crotch.

"I'll take care of that later" I heard Luke whisper in his ear

"Gross" I yelled throwing an empty Taco Bell cup at him.

We dropped the two off at Steve's dad house and we drove back to our place.

"God they're disgusting" I said flopping onto the couch.

"Horny boys will be horny boys" Josh laughed pulling me onto his lap.

"I love you" I smiled

"I love you more" he said pulling me closer to him.

He started to kiss my jawline. Pulling me as close as he could to him he put both hands on my hips. Both of my legs were on either side of his body. I moaned as he reached my neck.

"Josh" I whispered as his hands moved up my back

"Ahme" he said putting his head in the crook of my neck softly biting down.

"Stop not now" I breathed as his one hand got tangled into my hair.

I was only 17 in any other situation I would love to but not yet. I couldn't do that right now. I wanted to wait until I was 18 for it to be legal.

"Sorry" he said moving back

"Soon okay" I said pulling him closer.

"You are just so tempting" he whispered in my ear.

"So are you" I said getting up.

I walked into the room and changed into sleep shorts and a tank top. I took off my makeup and undid my hair.

"Those shorts are even more tempting" he said walking in to the room.

He took of his jeans and shirt. He got to the side of the room I was on in three steps and grabbed my waist pulling me to his chest in a hug.

"You are so hot" I said under my breath.

"You aren't to bad yourself" he chuckled

A blush came up to my cheeks. I didn't even mean for that to come out.

He pulled me into the bed. I began tracing the tattoo on his arm. We have become so close in the last year. I missed Ronnie being around but Josh was always there for me to talk to. I have no idea what I would do without him and I don't want to figure that out.

"I love you Josh" I said putting my head on his bare chest.

"I love you Amelia" he said kissing my hair. "I always will"

"As will I" I yawned

"You've had a long day babe go to sleep" he mumbled his grip tightening on my waist.

"Goodnight" I said kissing him.
