Chapter 3

Amelia's POV:

I carefully slid out of Josh's arms to get ready for work. I've been working at Hot Topic for the past 3 years. I've only technically worked there for 1 and half but Hogan hired me under the table.

I got dressed in a Blink-182 tank top and grey skinny jeans. I put on some eyeliner attempting a wing and some mascara. I quickly put on red lipstick and my converse. I was already running late.

"Hey babe I got to go" I said kissing his forehead purposely leaving a lipstick stain.

"Aw no" he said trying to pull me back down.

"Hogan is gonna be mad at me for being late babe" I said trying to get out of his grasp.

"Fine, I'll see you later" he said kissing me

I got in to Josh's car and began the ride to work. I jammed out to PVRIS hoping to make the drive seem faster. I stopped at Dunkin Donuts to get donuts for the guys at work and an Orange Coolata for me.

-Hot Topic-

"Dad I got donuts" I yelled when I walked in the door.

"This is why you are my favorite kid" Hogan said grabbing the donuts.

"Thanks sis" Leo said grabbing a donut

"Welcome" I said setting my purse behind the counter.

I've become really close with Hogan the past 3 years. He's basically been a dad to me hence the fact I call him dad. He was like a dad to us all at Hot Topic.

He didn't have any kids. He was married about 15 years ago but his wife Mary passed away 5 years into their marriage. He's owned the Hot Topic at the mall for 16 years. He lives alone in a two story house so we always hang out there. I actually lived with him for a little bit during my Junior year. His first name isn't actually Hogan its Jack.

"Dad unlock the door there are children trying to come in" Leo yelled

"Fine" Hogan sighed jokingly.

I spent the next 5 hours listening to Panic! At The Disco and Green Day albums. I stayed in the band corner folding shirts and replacing the signs.

"Finally a good request" I yelled pulling down the clip board

"What now" Leo yelled

"SET IT OFF THESE CHILDREN HAVE GOOD TASTE" I yelled doing a little dance.

"You are such a dork" Leo laughed from the register "you are a child too you know"

Leo was about 23 and thinks he can boss me around even though I'm more mature then him at times.

"Amelia you can go home" Hogan called from the back room

"Ok" I said fake pouting

"See you Wednesday" He asked

"Frick ya" I said making jazz hands

"You are such a child" Hogan laughed

"You are old enough to be my dad Hoges" I said punching his shoulder and grabbing my purse

"Stop reminding me kid" he laughed

"Bye Leo" I yelled as I walked out the back door.

-Home-

I walked into the house to find Josh,Kenzie,Luke and Steve playing Mario Kart. It's hard to believe we all have graduated high school.

"Hey guys" I said settings my purse down and taking off my shoes.
